The informal expression would be "Casse le tour." The formal one would be "Cassez le tour." So not so very rough, I would say.
Sandra isn't tour feminine? so it should be "casse la tour"
Some great names, guys. I love Mr. A. Wake
if we were to suppose that someone who wants to remain anonymous were to be writing .
about the watchtower society or his/her lifestory,.
and if we were to suppose that this writing were to start off their new career as an author, .

god's word be a lamp to our foot.
Shun unbelievers entirely...no
What does it mean though to show an interest...obviously not going to a soccer game with them, but you
can go with the PO with the season tickets.
ROFL
and be careful not to talk to the people that will be sitting next to you at the game...
paragraphs 6 to 10 made me vomit.
i posted a similar article a year ago, but have cut it down by half, so thought it worth posting again for those that are looking for a place to start discussing the fallacy of watchtower doctrine with family.
there is no guaranteed way to open a jw mind.
however, it is generally more effective to avoid discussing doctrine and rather concentrate on the concept that jesus chose the watchtower society as his sole organization in 1919. i hope this may help some of you.
Its not a good idea to attack a JW's faith, that will close their mind fast. Any attacks are a sign to them that they are being persecuted in Jehovah's name.
In a tactful way, sow the seeds of doubt a little at a time and they will eventually start to fade, we hope.
so true. as blondie pointed out, in time it will germinate.
for those interested in whether jerusalem was actually destroyed in 607 i have placed the article "why jehovah's witnesses are wrong in believing jerusalem was destroyed in 607" on a new web site.
the old web site: http://www.geocities.com/jerusalem607/
the new web site: http://www.jonathan.freehyperspace.com/
does not seem to work.
i wonder how it strikes you when you read of those facing or have faced one of your tribunals?.
as x men in charge, how do you feel reading the pain and panic here?.
r..
Mrs. Smith, that study is mentioned in the book "why we believe what we believe" a book that all JW should read.
I also feel sorry about a few things I did/didn't do. As to JC, I always tried not to DF and managed quite well. Fortunately I have always worked with elders that were open minded.
i was recently searching the web for information on 607 to discuss with my wife and i came up with this.
http://www.jehovahsjudgment.co.uk/607/default.html these people say that they are proving the watchtowers 607 date correct.
i am convinced that the watchtower is wrong because of all the other things that i have researched but i would welcome any feedback.
Jeffro dealt extensively with the jehovahsjudgement site: http://jeffro77.wordpress.com/jehovahs-witnesses-and-1914/response-to-607-website/

One thing I love about DC conventions - many African American brothers use these occasions to wear highly colored flamboyant suits - I think they look cool
I like them, too. and their children are simply gorgeous.
mine are switzerland, germany, japan, sweden, and china.
there are beautiful things (and people) in every country. I've had the privilege of visiting many (but not enough ) so far my favourites are South Africa, Austria & Thailand.
charles taze russel.
founder of the watchtower and a very respected man among the jehovahs witnesses even today.
do you think charles russel, would agree with how the society went about things after his decease ?
Great posts Terry, thank you!
as part of a cult awareness campaign of sorts???
to de-ignorize (new word) householders and give them tools for engaging a cult member on their door step?
i had that idea and got some positive feedback...so, any of you would find that something you would want to participate in ?
I would say not just no but PLEASE DON'T. You'll end up looking really weird and maybe next time the person will ask the witnesses "why are these creepy people following you around" opening the door for a witness. So please don't do it.
Besides everyone knows that the "witnessing work" is a fraud. They don't bring anyone into their organization anymore through this method (or at least so few that country wide (US) it's a loosing statistic) So all you can do is cause harm and make witnesses feel persecuted (which they love!)
You want to hurt the witnesses? Hit them where they live! A more effective use of time and money would be to rent a billboard across the street from the kingdom hall and put lots of little witness factoids with websites on it. You know that there are a LOT of witnesses that would check them out.
I am 100% with you mkr32208.
