  If most here R anti jw why bother writing mean hurtful and prejudges posts?

  if most people are anti or ex jw why bother if you dont believe in it why waste your time writing mean hurtful and prejudges posts and set up a entire web site and forum dedicated to them.

  its a religion not a cult and people write about jw's as a whole everyone is an individual and just like the rest of the world there are nice caring people as well as bad awful people.

  jehovah witnesses dont set up web sites saying and exploting awful things that non jw's do to them, such as teasing bashing raping even murder..

  i shouldn't have done this, but i did it, and don't know if i regret it or not.

  i guess i am in deeply narcissistic mode or something.. the plan was to meet my aunties for dinner here in my town, but i started projecting the night before about their motives for both suddenly being here, one announced (and one unannounced until the last minute).

  i suspect it has something to do with my jw grandma's declining health, but who knows?

  You and your double.

  hypothetical situation: one day you wake up, and when you get up and turn around you see that you are still lying in your bed.

  tada there are now two of you.. i'm not talking like a twin, or clone... i mean an double, you and the other you both have the exact same memories, skills, likes, dislikes, goals and personality.. would you get along?

  Interesting point... but since we are identical we would both have the same internal confliction and eventualy come up with the same decision.

  Not so, my friend. While you're experiencing one set of environmental influences/ events of one moment, your double could be experiencing a different set of environmental influences/ events of a moment, duly changing what might have otherwisebeen the same conclusion/ decision.

  profit making organisation?

  i've been reading many slanderous things about the jw's - can anyone give me a reason why a)it would be called a profit making organisation - exactly who is profiting?

  and b)if it is so wrong, brainwashing the millions, then who is at the top, benefiting from deceiving all these millions of people?

  can anyone out there can help me answer these questions?

  And in answer to your question, I recommend reading a book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad." Has nothing to do with religions, much less Jehovah's Witnesses in particular...but has everything to do with financial incentives and tax loopholes for corporations--and how two distinctly different money-making philosophies/ paradigms exist and are passed down through generations throughout the world.

  One philosophy/ paradigm explains the operation of the Watchtower Corporation in a very general sense. Having learned this--the rest you can surmise from common sense. Happy reading!!

  How polite are you?

  often i'm following someone into a building and entering the same door, and most of the times, the person in front won't even try to keep the door open so that it wont close in my face.

  knowing that someone is right behind me, i'll even wait a second or two and hold the door open for that person.

  i guess it has to do with being well educated.

  Thanks for your feedback, Nvrgnbk. Now I'm still wondering if it's the polite thing to do around younger males, and what's the age cut-off (so to speak), and what about on dates? Always a question for me, each time I reach a door anywhere in close presence with a male. Anyone?
