i came across this interesting, sad article detailing a case of a runaway child who was murdered in canada.
apparently she had been raised as a jw.

The WT has zero tolerance for this kind of involvement with churches. We had a local elder in our area though not in my congregation ( Anointed !) who kept watch over this sort of independence activity. He emphatically reviewed how such involvement with false religion undermined the stand that Jehovah’s people had suffered persecution for in the past.

That is what l feel too, BOC. US politics can’t recover because of the money involved ( big corporations allowed to contribute and lobby). That insures that candidates will conduct themselves with their owners interest in mind. Running a campaign costs.
That alone has been enough to make BS of democracy.

One cannot say that people from a given country are criminal. That's just nonsense, and I don't need a study or numbers to back that up. Being human is enough proof.

illegals are the quiet ones in my area. I know some (Hispanics)The crime rates seem to come in the following generations. The ones that are “privileged Americans” if they do not get an education and get away from violence.
In Germany pitched battles with death and injuries are fought in the streets by migrant clans on a daily basis; there does not a week goes by that young females are not raped, murdered by "New Germans" .---

my husband is dfed but he is a prime example of someone who was a puppet for the watchtower.

Whynot — Revelation 14:1-5 Is the scripture that helped me out of the the Organization. That bible passage convinced me that the GB was wrong to arrogate the ultimate authority they claimed. That passage says plainly that the defining characteristic of these people would be that they “follow the Lamb wherever he goes” yet the GB teaches that these ones must defer to the ( fallible) teachings of the GB. This teaching overthrows the “brothers of Christ”—the 144,000.
Ceding authority to these men destroyed and outlawed genuine faith even among the so-called Anointed.
The GB are not God’s mouthpiece on earth.
my mil came by to drop some pressure on my wife to go to the three day this weekend.
she told her that she wants our baby to live forever and that she wants us to come back.

on thing that really makes me angry and disgusted is when i think of the way in the past that the elders pressured me over and over again to have a meeting with them over a petty make out and petting incident.
they asked such instrusive, personal questions like, “did he touch your breast, for how long?
under or over your clothes?” i know that this happens to thousands of people, especially young women, and it’s just not right, it makes me so angry that i almost feel tempted to confront the elder who especially did this, when i see him at the convention in a few weeks and tell him what a sick person he is and how much trauma he caused me, manipulating me and pressuring me to answer such instrusive questions while he sat there and took notes!!
