Does consciousness end with the death of the body

they also argued that direct observation is the only certain way to know anything, and thus the existence of supernatural forces and realities cannot be established and must be rejected.

I had a lovely weekend, how about everyone else??

Yard sales, spent some $$ on stuff I've been looking for. Worked in the community garden. Invented a new exercise. Gave myself sciatica with new exercise. Went out to the lake for a bit of a walk and some knitting. Dried a bunch of onions that were given to me. I like to use dehydrated onions in my cooking. House and everything in it now smells like onions. Not sure it was worth it!
I moved up here four years ago. Didn't make many/any friends until I moved into these apartments two years ago. I got involved in the community garden and that made all the difference. Plus I got a lot of veggies!
Our community garden is also a hotbed of conflict, drama, competition and cliques. It's amazing to watch! I made some friends, so I have people to chat with.

I doubt he will have a lot of effect. Interesting analysis at the end of what he says and what it really means -- or doesn't mean.

We are an Evil Aposta-Family

it is incredible to me to see how our so called friends have dropped us like we were a snake covered in spiders.
we actually havent really said anything to anybody about why we stopped.

Well, good for you. Protect your children. You're being nicer than I would be, to spell it out for them. I think I would just tell them to piss off, they had their chance when you were a kid, and they screwed it up. You can't let them do the same things to your children that were done to you.
You don't have to tell the children too much -- when they ask about their grandparents, just say "that crazy religion" makes them act like that. You can answer their questions about the crazy religion truthfully, appropriately for their ages, so they grow up understanding the damage a crazy religion can do.
