  Realist,

  The attack on Pearl Harbor was not a surprise to the US. gov. They knew of it with enough time to have warned the sitting ducks. The US benefited from that too. Do you think the US. citizens of those day would have ever conceived in their heads that that was the case? This kinda thing has been done through history.

  I dont think the US had any direct planning in it. But then again the more unimaginable the action the more likely we are to not believe that they would be capable of doing something like that.

  Its hard for me to believe it. I don't want to believe it. ..... O.K. I don't believe it!

  Examine your post I'll let you read it. You assume too much. Youre off way off. Age proves nothing.

  Since age and idealism are being discussed here Noam Chomsky is an " idealist" as you might put it, in his 70's and he has a lot more years between you and him than there is between us.

  What does that prove? That because he is older and has more life experience than you he can use that as an argument as to why his views are unchallangeable by you ? No

  Are his points valid or not? Do they make sense or not?

  You cant always just assume things.

  Using the age thing is a straw man argument. You are the one going on assumptions. I never said it was you that got your news from those sources. I guess I was worng to include cnn. I did'nt mean for you to take it personal.

  What are those good sources, if you give them to me I'll check them out! Its good to hear that you question everything. I got a drift of it when you mentioned fascism. I dont want you to feel that I'm telling you how to think just because these posts are somewhat thought provoking.

  I think Crazy and Farkle would really appreaciate reading some of his stuff. He lay things out so matter of factly without over sensationalizing.

  Unfortunatley most people think that the news you get in abc,cbs, nbc,cnn is real news.

  Crazy and Farkle things cant be dismissed as easly as just saying liberals this liberals that.

  Its not about liberals vs. conservatives , democrats vs. republicans. Its about not not having the wool pulled over our heads.

  Before 911 most everybody was unaware that other countries hate us.

  There is a reason for that and that reason is that we dont get the real news.

  That is one of the ways to keep the masses marginalized.

  That is why the watchtower did not want us to talk to apostates. But maybe now that you are out and you finaly have a chance to be patriotic you are taking it to blinding hardcore level.

  I am very patriotic and I want to be able to be patriotic and proud of our country.

  Farkle thinks we are leaning toward a fascist state and he is expressing it. I don't think thats unpatriotic. I think its very patriotic.

  Crazy, sounds like you just glossed over the 911 article and went straigt to the illuminati.

  I was referring to reading the 911 article it raises a lot of good questions. Its ok if you are skeptical.

  Opening ones mind to other ideas is tough when ones been used to thinking about things in a certain way.

  Thats what keeps a lot of JWs in that mind controlling cult!
