What makes them think that Canada would want them? Then again don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you when you leave! Make sure you take as many of your liberal freak friends with you as as possible.

What is the market doing to your portfolio?
by truthseeker inthis market crash is ravaging my portfolio - but i'm not selling.. things can go up and down.. it hasn't quite got to the point where people are throwing their silver and gold into the streets, but who knows?.
an elder i know who has a good job in it has already lost several thousand dollars of his 401k.
it's hard to know whether to sell.. cash is king.. .

but it's still lower than it has been in previous months.
I bought all my gold when it was $280 and my silver at $2.70-$3.00. The metals have dropped but they have still outpaced "the street" by a wide margin. There is still more upward pressure on the metals then down. Just don't sit around waiting for your broker to recommend it.

I got into all commodities over seven years ago. 30% are precious metals and gold saw the highest increase in history today. Oil stocks are still doing very well.

If you can use wireless ISP's like ClearWire, etc. then that would be beter then satellite. In Western WA we get very few thunderstorms and the heavy rain clouds pass out the dish line of sight in minutes.
I would go insane if I had to use the web now with dial-up. It still takes way too long to upload videos and some larger pics with cable DSL I hope you get broadband of some type real soon.

I was the eighth person in WA state to get Starband. It had a few bugs and software conflicts at first but within a year it was working real well. Snow can also block the signal until you go out and clear it with a broom. During the spring and fall at certain lower latitudes the sun can be right behind the satellite and also overload it for a couple minutes.
Back 2002 we had a large earthquake and the phone lines were completely overloaded. It was handy to be able to email w/o a phone line. We have also had our phone go out several times and still be able to surf the net and email.
I would still be using it if it was the same price as DSL. But DSL was half the cost and the same speed.

I used Starband satellite internet for several years until our local phone company got DSL. Aside from a couple blackouts from heavy rain clouds each year it worked real well. The delay would keep you from using any Voip applications. It was a huge step up from dail up. When our phone co. offered dial up it was half the price of Sat service so I switched. The same dish was also our TV reciever which we still use.

Obama's Comments on 'Small Town' Voters- Sadly, he nailed it
by nvrgnbk incall him an elitist if you will, but he simply voiced an honest observation.
in rural pa, many people tend to vote based on the fear that the dems will force them to have abortions, confiscate their hunting rifles, burn their bibles, and make interracial gay marriages mandatory for their children.
economic stimulus and improved educational opportunities be damned!.

He will have to sleep in the bed he just made. The US is made up by a huge collection of "small towns" also referred to as "fly over towns". So if he wants to fly over and Sh*& on them then so be it. He keeps revealing himself to be a an inexperienced rookie politician and the more rope he is given the faster he is hanging himself with it. What a brilliant stereotype to probagate. Pure genius.
