  The beatings have commenced. Seattle 13 San Fransissys 0. The QB has been doing alot of turf tasting so far. Thier red jerseys are hiding the blood stains pretty good.

  In ten mins I will be watching the hawks put a beat down to the 49ers. Those poor saps are still in the locker room eating sushi and drinking chai tea not knowing the pain that is comming soon.

  I saw it so many times I cringe thinking about it. It seemed there was some twisted honor in finding the most menial job and so many families in my former cong. were on some form of public assistance. They saw it as siphoning money from satans government to further the ministry.

  Hanging out with JWs after you no longer believe

  it's starting to become harder and harder to hang out with witnesses.

  all their talk about how evil the world is, etc.

  i was at a gathering last night, and this older couple was their talking about how their granddaughter came back because she got a taste of how the world was, her so-called friends were freeloading off her and stealing her stuff.

  After my fade I avoided them far more then they avoided me. I "DF'd" my friends and family because I did not want to deal with the guilt trips and arm twisting that I knew they would try. Most people do not have to deal with JW friends after they leave because they quickly find out they were never friends in the first place.

  A healthier tactic is to make many non-JW friends. Develop and have in place a good safe support network before you leave. That worked very well for me and I have never had any desire to be with my so called "JW friends". The ones that I see in my clinic are friendly but so completely plastic and disingenuous that I do not even want to be around them. They still make my skin crawl after 24 years away from them. That is a sure biological sign that I made the right choice to get out.

  To continue to associate with them is unhealthy at best.

  i've heard a few posts on this forum suggesting the wt society has its own 'secret' team of people who lurk on this site for information purposes but also to identify individuals who have left the org and become 'apostate' and are actively working/campaigning against the wt society.

  can anybody here verify this?

  is this actually happening?

  i just wanted to give thanks to all the people here at jwd for making me feel welcome and sharing all your insights an experiences.

  posting here and reading posts here have brought a lot of questions and also an eaqual amount of enlightment.. i believe in the short time i'v been visiting here i have learned more about reality and how it should be viewed than anywhere else i'v been .

  i came here as a person interested in truth and i have not been dissapointed.

  i would like to hear your theories on this.

  and i don't want this thread to turn into a debate if some people don't wtih someone elses explanaation that's fine just don't debte about it.. i was out driving with my daughter last week at about 10pm at night.

  I certainly hope they are because they are sure taking a severe beating here. It was mentioned on a previous post that there are over 28,000 registered members here which is nothing short of a PR nightmare for them. They would not even have a snowballs chance in hell to try to do damage control or micromanage JWD.
