I use to burn a stogie several years ago until it started to irritate my sinuses real bad. Most of the time it was Arturo Fuente robustos, Macanudo and Montecristo (Cuban). A friend of mine in Australia had a brother that owned a smoke shop so he kept me supplied with Cubans. He would ship them w/o the rings so customs would not know the country of origin. I had enough to keep my friends well stocked also.

Any cigar smokers in here?
by marmot ini don't like cigarettes all that much (even though i actually tried to take up the habit, i found out i don't have an addictive personality - same reason why i'm not a coffee person either) but i do enjoy a nice cigar.
notice i said a nice cigar, not those nasty chemically-flavored things that taste like froot loops and smell like a crotch fire.
i'm talking about a nice cuban monte cristo or a real leaf-wrapped cigarillo.

I never realized that I have very few pics of me as a kid. My mom has almost all of them and I may not get them until she dies. Might be just as well since my grad pic is way too geeky to post anywhere.

This is AMAZING! Have you EVER seen anything like this?
by Gopher indutch illusionist ramana is levitating on a stick, in front of the white house.
it sounds like a simple illusion.
but before you say it's a simple trick, click on the link and watch the first few seconds of the embedded video.

The Discovery Channel had a program about levitation and part of the show was the old tricks used in India. I love illusionists just for the challenge of fiquring it out.
One of the first things that started me questioning the JW's was their labeling magic as demonic just because they could not figure it out. In Jr High school I read alot about Houdini and learned about illusions and realized it was science, psychology and mis-direction, not them demonz.

I have seen that one explained before. The post is an inverted "L" and is solidly anchored underneath. He is sitting on the leg of the "L".

My sister left for two years and missed her friends so she went back. When she was out she did all the holidays and experiemnted with recreational pharmacueticals. However I am getting strong signals tha she may be starting to fade. Her husband (elder) has cancer and I have a deep suspicion that if he does not survive it she will leave.

Gesturing
by 38 Years inafter you quit, do any of you still have problems with excessive gesturing (the ministry school type).
when i was a kid, getting a "w" made me feel like a failure.
i was always getting a "w" for gesturing, so since i wanted to be "perfect", i decided to incorporate gestures into my everyday speaking.

We have a herd of 25-30 elk come through our place quite often but it's either too early or too late to get a good pic. I have some great video but it's analog and I have not got around to uploading it.

My eight yr old daughter was working on a paper that my wife printed out for her for sex ed. She was supposed to label the "plumbing" parts. I walked by the table she was at and she asks "What's that thing that holds the juice"?
