Only if they want to face the consequences of doing so. If you violate a contract there are ramifications to doing so. Try not paying your mortgage or rent for a month and see how smooth that goes.

The thread title is "Why are we telling Iran they can't have nukes"?
"We" is 188 nations along with the UN that are all signatories in a treaty (agreement, contract) and the US in only one of those nations.
There is a huge difference in one nation trying to tell another what they can and cannot do vs. making a country comply to a binding contract they agreed to.

And it's very likely it will a major US city. That is why the US is behind the UN/world in making sure a psychotic, racist and religious extremist does not have access to such a destructive device.

Please explain? The "F" word also has different meanings but it is still regarded as an obscenity. Why is "the black community" allowed to use it and the rest of us can't? The dictionary only has one definition of the N word.
Do we want our kids growing up hearing it from anyone of any color?

The History Channel yesterday just had a program about Iran's nuclear program. The levels of enrichment that they are doing are far beyond what is needed to generate power. They are also not cooperating with UN inspectors. If they had nothing to hide they would want inspections to vindicate them. They have also obtained weapons blueprints from Russia.

Considering Iran signed the treaty then it does make sense. It does not matter how many nukes the US or Russia have. Niether country is threatening to vaporize and entire country just because of religious hatred and ethnicity.

Why does our culture allow Dave Chapelle and other black comedians to use the N word and make racial jokes? If it is so hurtful and offensive then they should be the first to not use it and condem those that do.
