Mr Shawn, since you brought up ignorance I have a few questions for you. Who do you think built your house, cars, roads, bridges, tunnels and planes you fly on? Who is going to rebuild your transmission or engine on your car when it goes out? Who fixes your appliances and uncloggs your plumbing? Who is it that would drag your unconcious butt out of your house when it's fully engulfed in flames? Who is that will cut you out of your car in the pouring rain at night while you are bleeding internally after a head on collision? Who hauls off your smelly trash every week? Who grows all the food you consume each day?
Without rednecks you would be up sh creek. What qualifies you to make fun of huge segment of our population that makes your life much more comfortable and convenient?
Thanks for the feedback! I wish more people would get involved with a hobby or craft and fire up the creative and artistic part of their brains. For me it's the most therapuetic and relaxing activity I have found aside from sex. It doesn't matter if your creations ever win any awards or not, I enjoy the journey. It's always cool to find others who enjoy the same art or craft and exchange ideas and techniques.
I can't sit still long enough to ever be a sports fan or video gammer so I had to find something else to occupy my time.
to my biography post.amazing it was 10 pages back !!!!.
as my time on line is limited i think iam best suited to replying to topics rather than begginning new topics.. has this board become to popular for many to be activly involved in it ?.
I agree that JWD has become so busy that it is not as user friendly as a smaller forum would be. With so many members even after being here a year I still really don't know even a fraction of the people here. Some threads pile up as fast as a chatroom would and others are gone into obscurity within seconds.
Several days ago my wife and I were facing a serious health crisis (ovarian cancer) and I was tempted to find if anyone here may have had some experience with it. But I knew it would have ended up five pages deep in the active topics and decided to skip it. She just found out yesterday that it's not cancer.
JWD seems to be geared more to the "masturbation", "my kitty is so cute" and "favorite soap scents" threads for the most part. I also find the 607/587 threads to be equally riveting as well. And of course we always have the tired out endless athiests vs theists spats for our viewing pleasure.
A year ago on another forums chat sub-forum global warming threads ran about 80% of those that bought into it. Last week I dropped in and saw a thread on it's 16th page and only three GW's were still towing Pastor Gore's drivel.
Thanks Seeker4! Solstice to me means the days will start getting longer by aprrox 2 minutes each day. The short days play hell with my mood and I always like seeing them get longer. I get to come out of my emotional hybernation.
lakota indians withdraw treaties signed with u.s. 150 years agothursday, december 20, 2007. .
washington the lakota indians, who gave the world legendary warriors sitting bull and crazy horse, have withdrawn from treaties with the united states.. "we are no longer citizens of the united states of america and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us,'' long-time indian rights activist russell means said.. a delegation of lakota leaders has delivered a message to the state department, and said they were unilaterally withdrawing from treaties they signed with the federal government of the u.s., some of them more than 150 years old.. the group also visited the bolivian, chilean, south african and venezuelan embassies, and would continue on their diplomatic mission and take it overseas in the coming weeks and months.. lakota country includes parts of the states of nebraska, south dakota, north dakota, montana and wyoming.. the new country would issue its own passports and driving licences, and living there would be tax-free - provided residents renounce their u.s. citizenship, mr means said.. the treaties signed with the u.s. were merely "worthless words on worthless paper," the lakota freedom activists said.. withdrawing from the treaties was entirely legal, means said.. "this is according to the laws of the united states, specifically article six of the constitution,'' which states that treaties are the supreme law of the land, he said.. "it is also within the laws on treaties passed at the vienna convention and put into effect by the us and the rest of the international community in 1980. we are legally within our rights to be free and independent,'' said means.. the lakota relaunched their journey to freedom in 1974, when they drafted a declaration of continuing independence an overt play on the title of the united states' declaration of independence from england.. thirty-three years have elapsed since then because "it takes critical mass to combat colonialism and we wanted to make sure that all our ducks were in a row,'' means said.. one duck moved into place in september, when the united nations adopted a non-binding declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples despite opposition from the united states, which said it clashed with its own laws.. "we have 33 treaties with the united states that they have not lived by.
they continue to take our land, our water, our children,'' phyllis young, who helped organize the first international conference on indigenous rights in geneva in 1977, told the news conference.. the u.s. "annexation'' of native american land has resulted in once proud tribes such as the lakota becoming mere "facsimiles of white people,'' said means.. oppression at the hands of the u.s. government has taken its toll on the lakota, whose men have one of the shortest life expectancies - less than 44 years - in the world.. lakota teen suicides are 150 per cent above the norm for the u.s.; infant mortality is five times higher than the u.s. average; and unemployment is rife, according to the lakota freedom movement's website..
Sign me up! It could not be any worse then the stinkhole this country has turned into. They may need to barrow some of my firearms to get thier plan implemented but I would consider that a minor inconvenience.

I would be pretty hacked off myself. Too many docs have a serious god complex and think they are above the law. They need thier asses sued every so often just to remind them they are still humanoid. I hope he gets canned, but he will just end up at another hosp. In my state hardly a week goes by without some doctor or health professional taking advantages of patients. Most of the time it turns out they have done it before in other states.
