A 5 day waiting period and a background check should help to reduce the carnage. There should also be legislation introduced to limit the length of string on them. The yo-yo free zones around schools have proven to be ineffective.

I started a topic about finding non-JW guardians for my my daughter if my wife and I were to both die. Many of us here have most or all of our family that are still JW's and I fiqured my dilema would be shared by many JWD members. It's a very daunting task with so many vasriables to take into consideration. The topic was buried within an hour with one serious reply and one smartass reply.
But at the very same time the "bath or shower" thread was on it's sixth page. That is when I realized I was in the wrong place and it was time to back away.
I don't consider JWD hard but after 14 months here I do see it as very frustrating and somewhat perplexing. It's more about the person who starts the topic versus the actual topic.

Game trail camera pictures
by BrentR insanta got me a game trail camera and i finally got around to setting it up.
it has a motion sensor and a 50' flash along video and still pictures settings.
with six d cell batteries it will operate for two months and take 750 his res pics with the 2 gb sd card i got for it.. on the far east end of my property we have a pond that is the watering hole for alot of critters.

They opened up a Cabela's about 25 miles away and that is where Santa (AKA wife) got it. Mine does not have the viewing screen and it really is not needed. I think it's about $50 less w/o it.

Our elk herd was only a 1/4 mile away in our neighbor's pasture on Fri evening. Hopefully they will wander over to the pond. I have seen their tracks and droppings there many times before.

On the far east end of my property we have a pond that is the watering hole for alot of critters. I set the camera up on the trail that goes to it and put out some bait. Every 3-4 days I hike down and grab the SD card and bring it back to upload the pics and videos.

The Decadron is keeping me awake until 4 and 5 AM but is helping the pain alot. I had to get Protronix this AM since all the meds are tearing up my stomach. This really sucks and I have never felt this beat down and exausted before. It was not until 5:30 this AM that I got to sleep and I woke up at 9:00 AM.

Actually it's torpedo shaped and comes in foil packs. I'll leave it at that. Toradol is not Ibuprofen, the chemical name is Ketorolac (10 mg). 10 mg of Ibu would not do squat for any pain or fever. Toradol is an extremely strong NSAID that can only be taken for five days before it destroys your stomach.
I am also taking several immune boosting suplements which is probably why it did not get any worse. It's supposd to be gone within 7-10 days and today day 7. My wife is a paramedic so she hauled my carcass in right away and got the ball rolling.
I was just wondering if anyone else had it and had any tips or experience to pass on.

Two weeks ago I had some major stress and was not sleeping very well. Lack of sleep and stress is all it takes to wipe out our immune system. The doc said the virus is most likely one that is in our system all the time but is kept in check (most of the time).

Has anyone ever had it? How long did it take to get over it? I woke up last Sat with severe forehead pain and later on very bad nausea. I went to the docs on Mon and was diagnosed with a migraine and the lab results came back on Wed with an elevated WBC. So I had to go back in and get a boat load of meds and more blood draws. It pretty much destroyed Christmas and it looks like new years is going to suck also. This is the worst head/face pain I have ever had but the Toradol, Decadron, Phenergren and Oxycodone is mostly controlling it.
