The Life Extension Foundation is a great resource for reliable and accurate info regarding supplements and nutrients. They have more MD's on thier board then naturepaths and nutritionists. I have been a member for almost ten years now and thier magazine has some facinating info.
Besides pomagranate is some very yummy stuff and costs less then mangosteen.

The only reason I am against seatbelt and helmet laws is that it does not allow Darwinism to work (with the exception of kids).

i sent out wedding invitations last week.

apparently they caused my parents to get a divorce.

i got an e-mail from my mother saying that she left my dad, is filing for divorce, and that dad thinks she left because she wants to go to my wedding and he won't let her.

I am sure most of have noticed that some JW's are a hybrid breed or as I call them "turbo dubs". They take the allready extreme idea's of the Borg and then go even farther thinking this will make them look better, more devoted. My mom and most of my family are that way. My parents will not even come to my daughter's spring concert because she goes to a non-denom church funded school. Then they wonder why my daughter does not like them.
They are too ignorant and braindead to realize the damage they are doing.to children who do not even understand all the twisted dynamics in play.
Renee, I hope you have a great wedding despite your family. Who needs all that drama anyway?

as life gets shorter by the minute, i'm finding all kinda' neat things out about it before it's unfortunately time to go to the check out line.

i was curious if there are any hobby blacksmiths or machinists on jwd?

for me it's a hobby and part time business and would like to find out if anyone enjoys it as much as i do.

I do a little woodworking also and enjoy it alot. Last Christmas my daughter and I made a cinnamon wood candle stick holder and hand dipped beeswax candle for my wife. My daughter loves working on the lathe and it very safe for her since the cutting head is operated with gibs and not a hand held chisel.

Hal9000, I have done alot of lathe work so if you ever have any questions or need tooling sources let me know. You can do so many cool things with them. I even turn alot of wood projects on my metal lathe with great results.
I have a few videos of some forging. It is very addictive to shape hot steel and you get a deep appreciation of how metal was shapped for many centuries.

This is a Bowie knife I forged and finished with just basic hand tools. The guard is 160 year old iron that was etched along with the blade to give it an aged look. I made this one to donate to my daughter's school fundraising auction.

Titanium is certainly a bugger to work. I have done a few projects with it and I hate more each time I use it. If you ever want to build your own anodizer let me know and I can PM you with the plans. It is pretty simple and alot of people just use a computer power supply.
