If you hold a while gold will be worth even more. In the mean time you can call around and find who will give you the best price. You will never get the spot price and you have to fiqure since it was jewelry you allready paid far over the spot price at the time.

I also bought several thousand oz of silver and it has not done too bad either. It has more upside potential then gold since it gets consumed and there are fewer mines operating.
Most of the silver I got was around .$2.75/toz and it just passed $14 yesterday. I still consider it as much an insurance policy as an investment. The USD has been in trouble for a long time but it has been artificialy proped up and kept on life support. Now it looks like they are pulling the plug.
If you read about the Argentinian currency collapse you will see that precious metal holders survived and did OK.
I did buy a 32 ounce bar though!
That was a smart move! Brokers can not make any commisions off of buying/selling bullion so of course they lie about it. The metals force everyone to confront the honest naked truth about any given economy and it's very awkward for many to do so.
Historicaly every fiat currency has crashed.

I did not even survive the elder interview because I was on pain meds from a car accident. They gave me another shot three weeks later.

But gold is at record highs. I started buying it in 1999 even though alot people said I was crazy. You can be crazy and still be right.

How Many People Did You Help Come Into The "Truth"?
by minimus inmy major claim to fame was that i studied with a family that i found from house to house and all 6 got baptized.
within a year's time, the mom and daughter got baptized and then within the next year and a half all the others followed suit.
2 of the kids became bethelites and the other daughter became an elder's wife.

I convinced one sister who left to come back but never brought anyone in. The sister that went back eventually left at about the same time I did.
I never even followed up on return visits.

It would have to be a very small one since that is about the size of a monkey. Cedar trees don't get very big around and the fern in the foreground is 6 or less inches wide. Interesting pic none the less.

We allready got to play in the snow last august. We hiked up to the snow fields on Mt Rainier and had a snowball fight and slid down the hills on Hefty bags. That is the best kind of snow, you drive/hike to it, have fun and then leave it in the mountains where it belongs.

I stopped a few years ago becuase it got way too expensive. Back when I did ski it was Crystal Mtn, or the three on Snoqualamie Pass. Every Feb we would go up to Whistler and Blackcomb for five days. You can't beat it for the exercise and the scenery and I miss it alot.
