  About the U.N thing again :)

  hi, just wondering if anyone knows of anything published by the jw's in which they say not to accept employment with the u.n. i remember when i was younger telling mum and dad that i wanted to work for the u.n doing aid work, and i vaguely remember them pulling out some publication and reading to me from it but i can't for the life of me find anything.

  Apostate Kate you make a good point, i suppose if you feel the need to be baptised you do not need to pledge your alliegence to an organisation along with it. openfireglass for a moment i couldn't work out why there was a big tent in the middle of the page, but then I saw why, and let me say your religion sounds pretty good maybye i'll join!! Thanks for all the posts so far ladies and gents.

  WOW you guys are quick!!! I really don't know what I'm looking for at the moment, I'm not a huge fan of God, however, I still can't kick the idea that there needs to be some sort of organised relgion, you know some way of "preaching the good news" and "baptising people in the name of Jesus". Who knows i will probably change my mind it's hard to tell what I going to end up believing these days I'm just interested to hear what other people are up to.

  hi all, i know this must have already been discussed, but i'm just wondering if there is anyone here who has just kept going to meetings and the rest of it, just so that they don't lose their family?
