  Why attack?

  as someone brought up as a jw and been an elder and been disfellowshipped (twice!!!

  ) i find it difficult to understand why ex jws have to attack the religion, yes religion, not cult or sect.

  i am no longer disfellowshipped just do not want to practice anymore.

  If I think of what it took me to be where I am today, I have no hope for my family, friends and loved ones. They are in and brainwashed and... that's where they will die one day.

  i'm in contact with service and writing and brochure first step there bleeding publishers they can't take it anymore publishers are depressed because they feel they must shun others and they know it's unloving.

  why they are jehovahs witness kittens of course, she replies.

  Stephen Lett walks down Columbia Heights and passes a little girl with a box full of kittens. He asks what type of kittens they are. “Why they are Jehovah’s Witness kittens of course”, she replies. The next day Stephen Lett arrives with the JW Broadcast crew and the rest of the GB and says, “Little girl, tell the cameras what type of kittens these are”. She replies, “Why they are apostate kittens of course”. Stephen says flustered: “But yesterday you said they were Jehovah’s Witness kittens!” “That’s true”, says the little girl. “But this morning, their eyes opened”.

  JW.org Lapel Pins for I.D. ?

  today was the first time i've seen a bro wearing a jw.

  org lapel pin, actually much, much larger than an actual lapel pin.

  square shaped, the background was olive green but the letters were white in bold letters.

  i have been searching for this for ages.

  it just seemed to have fallen off the net or was down in south africa - couldn't find links or anything.

  was really weird.. the site looks clean, i miss the old site however.

  Ha ha ha Afrikanman! I'm living in Gauteng amidst all the Bulls. I have nothing against the Blue Bull team . . . but their supporters leaves a lot to be desired. By the way, you guys are looking good on top of the super 15 log!

  Jehovah’s Witnesses are looking more like regular people every day. Here in contemporary London, the Jehovahs (I like to shorten their name, it’s a bit of a mouthful, isn’t it) move freely among us.

  They have migrated away from their usual environment (the doorstep or the nondescript suburban street) and they’ve abandoned their chaste, overly formal style of dress in favour of modern clothing manufactured by fashionable sports brands, high street mountaineering brands and multinational sweatshop retailers.
