  The lion king mufasa in today's WT?

  i swear its straight out of the lion king, the scene were scar throws mufasa into the stampede "long live the king" that scene.. i wonder how many jw kids will be picking up on this today?

  List of Prominent JW Urban Legends...

  hey folks,.

  i'm wondering if you all could help me with my next video that i want to put up in the next couple of days (though i'm hoping for tonight), i want to come up with a list of the most prominent urban legends surrounding jws and then refute them whatever they may be.. i'm thinking there's the urban legend about the question on jeopardy that said the nwt was the most accurate would be a good one.

  that one stems from an online powerpoint presentation named theological jeopardy and a book which was written comparing six different translations of the bible.

  Guys, just my take on the lions/missionaries story. I've lived in Africa my whole life and visited about a dozen African countries through the years. Even in deepest Africa, lions are controlled in wildlife reserves, parks and zoos. The chances that you would inadvertently meet up with a lion face to face is so remote, you're more likely to be eaten by a poodle whilst being struck by lightning with a winning lottery ticket in your pocket.

  Lions eating grass? Their stomachs cannot digest the grass so it has zero nutritional value. They instinctively know that eating grass can cause constipation. That said, I was in Mutirikwi National Park in Masvingo, Zimbabwe in 1992 during a severe drought and saw lions chew on wooden fence poles. In retrospect, I'm sure they were only excising their jaw muscles or they were very frustrated. The drought was so bad that the warthogs (always round in shape!) in the park looked like pieces of jerky. Thousands of animals in the Masvingo province died daily.

  i thought this article had some interesting interesting comments including this, "if a pastor or church leader has ever told you that the bible commands christians to tithe or give 10% of their income; hit you up for multiple offerings during one service; made you march up front to give; asked you to donate to a mysterious "building fund" or give a "first-fruit" offering; or even given special recognition to big givers in your congregation, lee and other pastors have a message for you:.

  you are getting played.. these rituals, they say, violate new testament teachings about how and why people should give.

  I don't think anybody owns copyright. I'll print the book, but the repercussions of an actual copyright holder jumping on the bandwagon mid-project is daunting. I don't think Cynthia left the rights to anyone. She never had children, but that doesn't mean that here is no distant living relative. Oh and I am deadly serious when I say that I would print it. I do NOT want to sound like the publishing house we so love to hate, but we could make it available at a more affordable price - just to cover the printing expense!

  those questions have always been polite and i have never used questionable language.

  the questions weren't exactly in support of christians though.. what did i get for my efforts?.
