  i'm an observant person.

  i became that way back in what i call the 'wallflower years' of my life, when i could very easily blend into the woodwork of any room i walked into without anyone looking up.

  i became a student of human nature and watched how people interacted, and that study has come in handy at many points.. sometimes, though, i don't realize when i'm opening a can of worms.

  Hello Esmeralda,

  Looks like you have outgrown this exp. and want
  to move on w/ your life. I commend you for fighting
  for the all the non-troll newbies. This quality of a
  blend of sympathy and courage is something that you
  need to focus on and fiercely grab hold of and then
  let it keep defining who you are. Don't let go of it, ever.
  I sincerely hope that your health improves and that you find happiness. It goes without saying that your talent for writing
  will bring you much success and love in life. But, please don't ever
  forget those who have opened their hearts and souls to you.
  These people don't merit this. Maybe the ones that offended
  you don't deserve your friendship, but the ones that loved
  you do.

  Don't worry about what others have said,
  focus on yourself and get better, and enjoy life.
  If some people choose to be rude and uncaring, then
  just exclude them from your life. If you feel that
  this forum is causing you too much heartache, then
  escape to a more pleasant existence. Love and acceptance
  can be found in other places too. You could join a local
  support group or befriend more people in your area.
  You can find nice people everywhere if you look hard enough.

  Just wanted to thankyou for the web site referral,
  which I found to be very informative and helpful.
  Also, i really appreciate you taking the time to answer
  my questions. I think after reading more on DID I've
  discovered that I may suffer mildly from this disorder.
  But once I start seeing a psy. doctor I'll know for sure.
  Keep telling us more about your struggle if you can.
  Your personal revelations have been helping me a great deal.

  i think a lot of space is wasted in arguments that get personal.

  we are a varied bunch and i think that variety is good.

  i dont want to discourage anyone from posting but personal attacks ( justified or not) dont achieve anything.

  I find it sad that you attack me like this, but I have
  sympathy and empathy for you because I read your thread
  and know what you are going through.

  As for your insults about my intellect, all I can say is
  I respectfully disagree with you. I have had doubts about
  my abilities all my life, which stemmed from what I disclosed
  to you on your thread. But, that changed recently.
  You see, after struggling through college for four years,
  I recently was accepted to a Law school in New York.

  Hi Goo,
  Thankyou for acknowledging what has been
  done to me on this board, it is an experience I'll
  never forget. When a mob-mentality breaks free
  it is a rare thing when someone stands up against them.
  Maybe you've had a similar exp. and can empathize
  and sympatize with my situation, and decided to speak up. Unfortunately, we tend
  to remember the most painful experiences in our lives.
  But, I've had a tough live and will bounce back in time.

  PS, don't you think that mob-mentality is still present
  in someone's post in this thread. It seems that they continue
  to be too one-sided and completely blind to the attacks made on
  me. In an effort justify their actions and the action of their
  mob-buddies they see only what they want to see. What a pity.
