Definite yes!
And to be more precise not only a couple of Jehovah's witnesses.
The German brothers had to move into the first World War against Anglo-America.
It adds hundreds of locations to this into the German Watchtowers.
Gave forces' postal service, Obituary notices and extra literature for the soldiers.
There were a hymnbook of his own and a prayer-book for the front soldiers.
Here one song from the songbook for the front soldiers.
Song 18

It stood out remarkable deceit of the Watchtower society following me at “the diary of a dead man":
The Watch Tower 15.9 1915 p. 287

4.) This is the central statement of the film
“To those who are still enmeshed in the teachings and customs of false [Watchtower] religion, a heavenly internetvoice declares:
“Get out of her, my people,
if you do not want to share with her in her sins,
and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues.”

*** g80 5/8 p. 21 Professional Beggar Becomes a Happy Giver ***
Another beggar employed a different ruse. She would pick up a dirty, crying child from the neighborhood and carry it through the streets, lamenting: “Have pity, for God’s sake. Help me to buy milk for my baby.” Of course, the crying child inspired pity, and many passers-by were quick to give her some money. Then she returned home and handed the child over to its real parents, paying them a small fee for the “hire.”
