this question was asked by tina on a different post.. and the person did not come back to her with an answer.. so i will ask it now.. this is obviosly directed toward those that still believe the wts.
is gods orginization.. .
what are 3 reasons we should go back to the wts?.
3 reasons? Easy Peasy!
(1) I wouldn`t have to go in the pub every night.
(2) I wouldn`t have to endure the agonies of fellatio.
(3) I could sit on a Df`ing committee and get off on sexy stories.
Next question!!!
Englishman.
i remember, when i was but a lad, how a young sister of 15 was publicly reproved to the whole congregation for being sexually experienced.. a couple of years later, the same thing occurred with another young lady, who was forced to sob in front of everyone.. even then, with all my j-dub imprinting, i recall feeling outraged at the congregations treatment of these girls.
i felt that the way that they had been dealt with was far more intrusive and abusive than anything that they may have experienced in their first sexual forays.. i recall feeling very deeply that it was very wrong for a female to have to submit herself to the interrogations of 3 middle aged men, whilst she had to be alone in her guilt and misery as she endured their probing.. in later years, my ex-wife had to go through this experience.
ok, she was no shrinking violet, but again i felt most indignant on her behalf.. surely, this is not right?

Surely, this is not right? Is it not a terrible travesty for a woman to be alone with 3 fellows, and give them lurid sexual details of things that are normally just between 2 people?
Why is it that, an accused woman is unable to bring another female with her to attend these kangaroo courts? Even the Police woud not dream of ever allowing a woman to be interviewed about anything unless there was another woman present.
What do you think? Is it not an abuse of human rights for a lady to be treated in such a manner? Shouldn`t an accused lady at least have the right to be accompanied by a female friend when she faces a DF`ing committee?

time again for me to face the ridicule and you to face the facts that the 144,000 are replacing the fallen angels.
just 21 reasons, not much reading but a lot of facts.. .
1. the fallen angels left their abodes and cohabited with the daughters of men.
Bruce,
No, you don`t get ridiculed here. You might get a bit of leg pulling because you always come back to the same point of view, but thats OK, everyone here thinks that I`m a compulsive beer drinker!

do you believe in reincarnation?.
i dont think i believe in it in the same way that most believers do, which is that we keep coming back in different fleshly bodies until we have achieved perfection.. i do, however, strongly suspect that we may well be spirit creatures who find it necessary to inhabit a fleshly body from time to time, and that this entails us having to leave behind most of our past memories.. i say most memories, because many people seem to have some vestigal recollections that don`t seem to fit in with earthly experiences.. i`m pretty sure that i chose my parents!
i have a recollection of being shown a young and kind couple through some form of astral telescope and choosing to become their son.
Jan,
No, I`m not a New Ager, I`m not anything really. I just think that there is a place for all of this stuff in our lives, as long as we dont make too much of a big deal out of any particular belief. Some new age stuff is good, some is absolute twaddle.

Wendy,
When I first became aware that we may well have a "6 th sense", I went to a workshop that taught me all about the "Chakra`s".
Chakra`s are energy centres in various part of the body and can influence our health and emotions. Each chakra is deemed to have its own colour, so sometimes, just meditating on a colour can produce a good result.
Englishman. Mmmm, try this one:

Thinkers Wife,
I think that you would enjoy reading "An old Captivity" by Neville Shute.
Although the book was written in the 40`s, his novel deals with just the situations that you describe. He eventually finds his ice-age lady
on an aeroplane in Canada, well worth reading.

do you think the wts will ever reduce the number of meetings per week, maybe drop one night a week?
just curious!
it seems that everyone is so whipped from working all day, i really think that's why there is such a drop in meeting attendance.
I`m lucky enough to finish work at around 3:30 on most days.
Do you know what I do then?
4 pm Hot relaxing bath.
4.45 pm Start preparing dinner for family.
6 pm Watch the evening news, eat dinner, enjoy glass of wine. May enjoy unmentionable activities, read a good book, watch a recommended video.
8.30 pm Log on to this site.
9.30 pm Down the pub for a few beers.
Midnight: ZZZzzzzzzzz...
Now lets get real here. How could I possibly attend meetings when I`m so busy?
Englishman.
