I have to aux pioneer?

ok so apparently the gb has instutuited some kind of quota for aux pioneers for the month of april for the memorial or something.

so the pos wife came up to me yesterday and told me "every congregation needs at least 16 aux pioneers for the month of april.

you should can i count on you?

ABR you bring up some good scriptures but i must admit im not gutsy enough to say that to her. I really dont want to get on this sisters badside considering how prominat she and her PO husband are in our congo. She would likely sick her hubby on me and id get a strong "talking to" after the TMS.....

guilt feelings sometimes

i was raised as a jw from the age of 4, my father was an elder for 18 years, was a auxillary pioneer for years, been there done all that and decided to leave at age 30, i have chosen a pagan path and am very happy but sometimes i feel guilty for no reason, does anyone else ever have this problem?

if you do, how do you handle it?

Im dealing with guilt right now.... i feel like somehow im turning on my family. My mother keeps telling me "dont you ever leave the truth. It would break my heart" How am i supposed to deal with that? I am confident that it isnt the truth and that she is being misled but how am i supposed to counter these feelings that im turning my back on her. Sorry that im not offering any help to you and i dont want to draw attention away from your feelings but i felt the need to vent. I hope the best for you in your life and hope you find your peace of mind.

Hehe i realise that i don't "need to".... I know the FDS is full of it and everyone that accepts everything they say as gospel truth is being misled and i realise that there are those that are overzealous and make stupid remarks like that i just find it humorous that no one see's how absurd it all is. The sister that "confronted me" would probably drink the kool-aid if the FDS told her to. Its very sad. I've already vowwed to never aux again. I just cant deal with lieing to people like that and wasting my time which i know can be spent on more productive and meaningfull things. Im tired of running on the hamster wheel but i realise i have to on account of my age and my family....

Ok so apparently the GB has instutuited some kind of quota for aux pioneers for the month of april for the memorial or something. So the POs wife came up to me yesterday and told me "every congregation needs at least 16 aux pioneers for the month of april. You should can i count on you?" I said "i dont know" and then she gets defensive and responds as if i had just said some kind of curse or something she said "What do you mean you don't know?!!!! Don't you love jehovah? The slave needs you". I was dumbfounded (sp) by her absurd responce and just shrugged my sholders and informed her that i was trying to finish up my last year of highschool and had a lot of things on my plate that i had to deal with.....

something that has always puzzled me was the descriptions of solomon's temple as well as the golden snake in moses day.

with giant angel statues in the holy of holies and the golden bulls and the countless other "graven" images in the temple that were supposedly god approved.

how was this not blatent idolatry.

Thanks for the article.... good reading. I'm just saying if the wts was around in bibilical days i'm sure they wouldnt approve.... well if they were around then i'm sure they would know the real "truth" as well and i wouldn't be here asking these silly questions...

Where the goden cherubs on the ark of the covenant not "graven images to things in the heavens above." Now if these same things were in A jewish synagogue or a temple or a catholic church or a mosque today wouldn't the watchtower label it as grossly idolatrous?

Jw's occassionaly just say god. They Say jehovah so much almost like they got something to prove. Many say "jehovah god" a phrase that i hsve always felt was horribly redundant. Its like calling my father whose name is larry by the title "larry dad".... but as far as prince being a dub? i got no clue. My circuit overseer supposedly played guitar with him and george benson a while ago though.... i'm sorry i'm not much help now am i? Shalom
