Preachers of the night.

a few years back a bunch of brothers in the cong.

i was in would do all night field service.

they would drive all over the county, through 4 or 5 different cities hitting all the bus stops, all night laundromats, convenience stores, gas stations, etc.

I am baffled as to why I Urinate so often and I am not a "Diabetic"?

i am really scared to go to the doctor but i am going after 5 years of constantly getting up to go to the bathroom especially at night.

in the daytime i hardly ever have to use the bathroom.

i have been tested for diabetis for many years and each time the doctor tells me "you are not a diabetic booker-t" i am terrified now because a good friend of mine who is in his early 40's as i am just found out he has prostate cancer.

maybe you have a urinal infection, try drinking cranberry juice, but you had it for so long maybe you should go to a doctor, sorry its going to happen whether you like it or not, don't be silly go to the DOCTor!you probably need antibiotics anyway! have a check up, i've learnt not to ignore things for too long you only hurting yourself, sorry for being so frank, sometimes you have to do what you have to do!

Specific banned shows, songs, etc...?

i know the society tells people not to listen to rock n roll cause its from teh satan, not to watch r rated movies because they're "worldly", etc.

but i was wondering if folks had any specific instances where one song, one show, one movie, or whatever was singled out as being particularly 'evil', and banned on an individual basis?

i was never a jw, but was in the worldwide church of god...the two are rather similar, i've seen many (and made quite a few myself) comparisons on the board; and i can remember as a child that every once in a while certain things would get brought up as being more evil and worldly than others.. examples of specific bans:.

i'm sorry, but are you counting your hours on here or what, i thought only God knows when the end will come,(Only He knows)i thought we are not suppose to fear man!

to me it seems you still believe that the borg is a direct channel from god,they are not fortune tellers, i believe that they are human beings who are power hungry, who have sometimes changed the rules to suit themselves, maybe you should read Crisis of Conscience and realise that they are human like you and me and nothing special.

i remember very well at one circut assembly,

meatloaf- i would do anything for love...

reason being according to the lyrics " prayed to the gods of sex and drums and rock and roll" ( not sure if its right), Any way refering to the worship of idols or false gods! (rolling of eyeballs)

Wikipedia being abused by Jehovahs Witnesses

i had a look at the wikipedia entry for jehovahs witnesses yesterday and noticed that it wasn't as comprehensive as it once was.. most links to non-pro-jw sites have gone as is anything truly critical or exposing of their beliefs and practices.. last night i added a link to this site to the "other sources" section.

this morning it is gone.. i wonder whether this is some private zealot who has decided to do it or an organised campaign?.

well, they even tried to work on the page with raymond franz biography, i think even removing his picture

once,calling him an apostate and questioning the authenticity of own experiences, sometimes you wonder how

far the jdubs want to go to discredit anyone who says anything negative!

first time posting, long time lurking.. came upon this site on accident a few years ago and dismissed it as a site for disgruntled people; however, in the past months i actively searched for it as it stuck in my mind.

believe it or not, i practically read all of the topics.

i felt, wow, i wasn't alone in my thinking and feelings about some things.. it all started years ago in my last year in high school and then into college.
