  Good point Gill. It all makes perfect sense.

  On a smaller scale I thought this too when i see how my father is, he enjoys the power that he has, and he really doesnt want to relinquish it.

  she said she was calling to check on me out of concern.

  She has no right to question you, imho she seems to be using your past feelings/relationship/history to guilt trip you. She is trying to pretend nothing has happened and that you have no valid reason to not be at the kingdumb hell, even though she must know all the things that have happened in your family recently.

  i have a bread machine and lately its been squeaking so i sprayed wd40 on the mechanism... and now the whole house smells like parafin and my bread is probably ruined.

  I did that to my door lock and everytime i put my key in oil comes off on it.

  An Elder Just Knocked on My Door

  i didn't bother to answer.

  it's probably because i told my ex last week that i will personally sue the individual elders if they meet with my daughter again to counsel her without my parental consent.

  we have joint custody and that means they need joint parental consent to counsel a minor.. i am filing for sole custody of our 12 year old daughter and will be serving him with the legal paperwork next week.
