Do you have all the friends you want to have?

i'm not talking about internet friends, but friends close by in your town.. so, do you have as many friends as you would like to have?.

when i was young and going to school, i had a few friends, but now i don't have any friends, but on the other hand, i'm a loner and i don't really care.

i'm not really searching for friends.

I have been thinking the same thing over the last few weeks. And the short answer is no. Since leaving the dubs its obviously even less, although i wouldn't really have counted any as friends more acquaintances.

What goes through their mind when.....

i was taking a walk earlier and a jw couple was leaving to go to their sunday meeting.. they saw me walking and know that i'm inactive since over a decade, and know that i don't go to meetings since many years, but still waved at me and gave me a big smile.. ok, once they get by me, and their smile fades away, what must they be saying about me?.

but i've been here for about two years, and i feel like i'm friends with so many people that have no idea who i am.

i post every now and again, but mostly i just read.
