  scientists at a norwegian university claim that a fossil found in germany is a link between apes, monkeys, other mammals and humans.

  their dating puts it at 47 million yrs old, a time when mammals were the newbies on the planet.

  they have labelled it darwinius masillae, and the specific skeleton 'ida'.

  Northern/Central California meetup ~end of June/Mid July???

  i will be coming out to the sierras/reno/lake tahoe this summer from the end of june through mid july.

  don't know my exact dates yet- depends on the dates for snowmelt in the high sierra.. anyone up for a meet-up then??

  Slumdog Millionaire! Go see it!

  i just got back from seeing it and it is fantastic.

  all i can say is go see it!.

  it was so moving, kept me gripped for the whole time and now i wanna go to india.. also the leading lady, frieda pinto is beautiful..
