  this morning's news highlight.

  a women lost control of her car and she ended up 50 yards away from the highway.

  she was thrown through the car's back window in a semi-conscious condition.

  Dropped in on the Circuit Assembly Today

  the ass hall is about 10 miles from here, and here is 3000 miles from my last congregation, so i figured what the hay, i'll step into the twilight zone, see what it's like after a few years away from it all.

  i was bored to a teary-eyed yawn within 10 minutes of sitting (next a nwt-guarded reserved seat, ahh, memories.)..

  i caught the last few minutes of the wt study and then came "giving attention to the needs of the circuit".

  My Bethel Experience part 4

  black thursday september 1972. knorr gathered all the bethel "heavies" and gb to the kh in the 119 building.

  the three freds (circuit overseers).............and about 50 brothers.....thats right only 50. the other guys chickened out, they knew it was going to be a blood bath.

  i was there with 7 others from the launrdy............... it started out with dan smoally (not even 30 years old and partaking) telling about what max larson (head of the whole factory) told him "there was no way he was one of the anointed!

  when i commented on the case of the canadain sextuplets i referred to an essay of two german jw attorneys, armin pikl (jw lawyer) and gajus glockentin (bethelite) from the year 1998. i turned some pages and came across another remarkable statement.

  the statement on page 30 deals with the accusation that jw would tell their members to break professional descrition.

  Well now...probably not! But it's a very good thing that it's not possible. Of course, if I had that power, others would have it too, and who's to say someone wouldn't will me dead before I could do it to someone else??

  Definite population control, that little trick.

  Besides, I personally feel that death is useless as a punishment. Living is the best punishment for anyone. But at least if someone is dead, they can't hurt anyone else, that's true.
