Do not let work get in the way of pioneering
by life is to short inthe april 15th wt is strange and it just throws things in here and there that are kind of out of sort.
i think it sticks in your mind more like hey i probably should pioneer when they throw things in that are kind of in left feild.. like this example on pages 16 and 17 it is talking about making decisions and in paragraph 15 it says "for example a congregation publisher might decide to pioneer.
will he succeed?

Born in, Faded, want to date but......

never dated while in because i "wasn't ready for marriage", haven't dated since fade because i really don't want to burden my girlfriend with the bull@#% of dating me while i still have to put up a facade of being "just inactive" to my family so they won't shun me.. this sucks.
i want to be happy.

And in a nutshell, there is your problem. For starters, how old are you? If you are late teens or early 20's, then its time to stop doing what pleases your parents and start looking at what you need to do to be happy in your life. This isn't being disrespectful, its just part of growing up and becoming an adult for yourself.
I kinda speak from experience here as I'm a mum to 4 sons. The oldest 3 are late teens/early 20's in age, all dating happily. As their mum it wasn't easy to let go, especially with the WT training I'd had to keep my kids under control, but I had to accept they weren't kids anymore but growing young men ready to make their own way.
Sure they make mistakes, don't we all? But that is part of life and learning. Speak to your parents respectfully about what you want. They may give you the standard WT line as expected but if you listen and remain polite they can see you are mature enough to make decisions on dating for yourself.

i know he 'returned' to the borg in 2006 to coincide with the release of his new book but i was wondering if he is still an active dub?
my personal opinion is that he gets away with stuff the average dub doesn't since the borg is very short on brainpower and credit to stafford, he is clearly an intelligent guy..

As soon as I saw the title of this thread in active topics, it didn't sound right. "spirit-guided king"??? Sounds like they're trying to align themselves with Jesus again. A false Christ is what they are.

Did having children make you a better or worse JW
by journey-on inafter i had children, i changed gradually in the way i thought about the religion i was raised in.
one day, it dawned on me that if my child was injured in an accident and needed blood to survive, there was no way in the world i would say "no" to a blood transfusion.
why continue the charade?

Wow! all of you are so much better than me! I was such a dumbass that I really believed that the JW way was the best way of bringing up my children. So I threw myself heart and soul into doing what the GB asked of me in the hope that it'd save my children's lives.
I became a great JW with alot of respect in the congregation for "aiming my arrows straight"
Now my eldest kids are out and battling their own demons because of their JW upbringing. How stupid was I???
Yeah, a great JW but a lousy parent.
