  This is no hoax changeling.
  Unfortunately, even the most thinking of JWs get the wrong view of things.
  If this would have come out a couple of years ago, I would not even have blinked twice.
  I would have said "yeah, what were those people thinking, questioning the society"
  My brother, who has already seen the box, said "people have time to write their own books?!?"
  His thinking is that people should learn to trust the society with their whole mind/soul/heart.
  I couldn't correct him without giving myself away (that I don't believe the borg).

  One JW leaving for "apostasy" is nothing - an entire cong doing so is dangerous.
  That could "infect" other congregations.

  So will the society not want us to reference encyclopedias when giving talks?
  I realize they are focusing on "study groups", but doing your own research can go just as far as a group.
  Sometimes I can do more research than having to wait and discuss things with people.
  
  I wonder if someone wrote into the society and actually asked this question, or if it was another self-asked question.

  does anyone know or have a scan of the km 09/07.

  in the german edition the question is raised and answered if the "faithful and discreet slaves" encourages biblestudy groups who study "deeper" topics.

  obviously the answer is "no" don't do that the slaves feeds you more than enough.. i could do with an english copy.

  i have sucessfully faded (or at least no one has cared for 2 years that i don't go to the kh).

  my hubby nad i have decided to let our preteen do what she wants as far as religion goes.

  It depends heavily on your elders.
  In my old congregation, you better believe there would be a meeting.
  In my new hall, there are several families who are not specifically directing their teen children (13, 14) to the JWs and the elders dont say much of anything.

  here is the best that i could do, but i think it gets the main points of the articles across.

  i wouldn't bet my life on this translation, but i think it is good enough for our purposes.
