it's true because it happened to me last night.
i knew it was trouble when she started looking at my kindle.
once she got to the short stories i wrote 3 years ago, autobiographical, some of it involving her, i knew i wouldn't be going to bed before 1:00 (it was 11:40 p.m. by then).

She seems over-righteous and you seem passive aggressive.
Being trapped in a cult mentality she doesn't even own her own thinking to a certain extent, perhaps driven by guilt concerning you.

I recommend fading so you can still associate with your family rather than ripping your life apart.
ok, so i finally picked up coc from my local library last night.
and started reading it like crazy.
i think i read about 70 pages which brought me close to the end of the second chapter: "governing body".
The book In Search of Christian Freedom was more "important" for me. That and Gentile Times, but CoC was a helpful read.
its hard to beleave that no one seems to have a full convention available.
usually there all over the place.

the title pretty much explains it all... i don't want to go too much into my story (for paranoid fear of identification), but i have been raised in the "truth", and got baptized at a young age- too young to truly understand what i was getting into.
i still live with my parents, and as such don't want to make a move just yet, as it would destroy virtually everything i have left.
as of now though, i see myself leaning towards agnosticism.. here's my short sob story.
I think it's the way to go, less pain for your folks too as they can still associate with you.
Leave for another city / place.
Get "depressed"
See a doctor
Make fewer and fewer meetings.
Start college
Feel a bit better
Tell your folks you'll go to school and keep the faith, but you need their support.
