  i need some reassurance here !.

  i spoke to my aunt the other day who has been out of the borg for about 20 years now.

  she told me that she is really worried about world events and feels that this is it now, the un is going to crumble and then armageddon is going to come.

  We have many examples showing us the consistence ob Bible`s prophecy. I think thats not the real problem.
  
  What we indeed are missing, is a scientific theory and ideology of a worldwide social and mental collapse (=armageddon) in the sense and connection with the chaos-theory. Because many people (and here in this forum too) see this matter only through their religious spectacles and WTC-focus, it would be VERY IMPORTANT to get internet-entry to the wisdom of some WELL-KNOWN serious scientific researchers who see such a disastrous scenario with pragmatical, cool and scientific eyes. That is what we need.

  Armageddon, as I understand it from the bible, will be a combination of social, ethic, economic and ideologic disaster. In a "synergetic" manner, all these parameters combined will lead the mankind to a situation, where they will kill one each other in a boil of hate against themselves, against other people and against God (what happened in Rwanda in 1994 is type of aphorism). This process will run very very fast, and cannot be hindered; not even supervised or "recognized" as an exceptional world-situation.

  When do you realize the thief was here? Same time when he is going to steal your asset? Certainly you will see the damage happened after you awake in the morning, next day.
  
  Same thing will happen with the "Great Tribulation" and "Armageddon". You will realize the accident when happened. Not earlier. No human intelligence in the world will be able to say: This is a "normal war situation" or: No, this is a singular, exceptional situation, with no referent example in the human history...

  If you have a crash with your car, your brain do not realize the impact before you climb out from your wrecked car (if you have survived the crash).
  
  So, dont be surprised when you - one day - read your watchtower magazine, proclaiming: Armageddon just has happened;-)

  If your aunt is really a JW, WHY is she worried about?

  I dont understand at all. Bible tells: "But as these things start to occur, raise yourselves errect and lift your hands up, because your deliverance is getting near." (Luke 21:28)

  I am so sorry about this war, because I like US-people. 5 years ago I made a trip to NewYork. Saw WTBTS and Patterson etc. Saw WTC-buildings before got destroyed. In my opinion Osama bin Laden has now got what he`d want. The damage is now world-wide the 1000 times bigger than 11-09. The situation in the world may completely get out of control if the Irak-war do not end within two weeks. Then the "Great Tribulation" will begin. Thanks to your leaders..;-( They are same as stupid as Nazis in Germany and Communists in former eastern countries. They are going to try to get through big walls with their heads. I repeat once more: I am very sorry about US-people.

  i had an interesting chat with a jw on yahoo messenger yesterday.

  of course, he was using "theocratic war strategy," at least at first, and pretended not to be a jw, but someone who was asking a lot of questions about them.

  he opened the conversation by asking if i wanted to discuss 'the meaning of life'.

  Armageddon will come. Thats no question. History of men approximate to cataclyptical accidents. See wars, see hunger, see crime, see unemployment, see economy crisis etc.
