- This quote is correct? Page 32 to 60, nothing can be input to me. This sentence appears page 66 2nd line but it was taken out of context. They made an amalgam starting on a discussion where I examined 2 possibilities of life rising up on earth : (cells coming from space or cells formating on earth) and I develop my opinion supported by numerous actual datas (for me there is no evidence that it happened on earth so it's the other hypothesis (life began elsewhere) which should be considered LIKE the other hypothesis. That's it !

Au contraire, I'm opposed to creationist but also to ID movement (several paragraps on the subject). I am very clear in my book and a chapter underline the contingency factor in all the process of evolution (with pictures to support page 229 !).

If Jehovah's followers read my book advertised by them, they will be very very disappointed !

Please be aware that my book is a very serious work very well documented (nearly 1000 references) and it passed through the filter of 8 referees before edition in USA (University of Chicago Press !)

So you are authorized to publish my words!

What's your opinion about theses lies ? I'm ready to sue them ! For that I need their brochures and documents which could prove through the huge publication of their craps, the damage caused to my reputation.

For Truth & Knowledge in the World, it's not a waste of time. Charity doesn't explain the Life, it's just give sense to it (if you want it). Science it's not a joke, a waste of time and everybody is happy to have them. During the Middle Age, you had charity but it was not possible for the science to speak without the vision of the Church.

What percentage of JWs have been disfellowshipped?

i was just thinking about people i knew - and i come up with around 15% who were disfellowshipped.

some got re-instated, some left for good, i even know a few who were disfellowshipped more than once.

it may be even higher than that - certainly it is pretty common in jwland.. i know that other religions have a theoretical state of disfellowshipping - the catholics have excommunication, for example.

The leaving is far more important than the disfellowshipped, dear slimboyfat. And the calculation is very accurate and close to reality.

I think it's the only way to know how many people are leaving the WT. And if you believe the figures given by the WT (1%), you believe in Santa Claus.

By the way, theses figures has been confirmed officialy by the Bethel of France (in 2005) when a Minister of the French gouvernment asked if they were true . They said 'yes, we have something like that" and they used these figures to prove that they are not a sect and they let people to leave the WT freely.

These calculation has been done by an ex-JW who worked for the French government (MILIVUDES). He's my friend too by the way. So I picked up the method.

About the death rate : JW are part of the population and like it the JW people assumes to have the same death rate. Without officialy DR, you have to take from the area you live (it's different between England & France, France & Belgium, etc...). There is no reason to not apply statistics for JW when you use it for other religion. Logical, no ?

How linked is the WT with Discovery Institute & Cie ?

regarding the last brochures (was life created & the origin of life) and the many plagiarism of the claims already used by the discovery institute and other canards of creationist organisations, i'm wondering if somebody could tell us if the bethel has subscribed to this kind of publication ?.

i don't see original quotes by the wt and often we can see a lot of (mis)quotes already used before.. any confirmation ?.

I think that the impact is stronger with an Excel Sheet and easier to use for readers. (even the job done in this essay is awesome !)
