  You won't believe this: a KH turned into a church!!!

  about two years ago i posted here some pictures of a kingdom hall for sale.

  that was quite something to me; had never seen something like it; never thought i would.

  always thought that a progressive, ever increasing true religion would be always building and expanding, not selling.. but what wasn't my surprise when i passed by the other day and the damn hall had been sold; worse, the old, glorious hall had become a, gasp... a church!!.

  I just realized something, if you change the second a to an o and the be to an s, and add a hyphen Alabama becomes Al-Osama! Proof that Alabama is evil!

  Iraq in the Bible, America in the Koran?

  at the moment we all have our own ideas about the country called iraq, a friend of mine recently sent me an email with a list that surprised me- since i am not familiar with the modern names of many of the places mentioned in the torah, koran, and hebrew scriptures of the bible.

  1. the garden of eden was in iraq 2. mesopotamia, which is now iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

  3. noah built the ark in iraq 4. the tower of babel was in iraq 5. abraham was from ur, which is in southern iraq !

  no, kingdumb hells do not have traditional images.

  they lack crosses, statues, and other symbols that most christian churches have.

  however, they do have an image.

  " donations are to be given to the kingdom hall at the funeral talk for the five men who were killed in that plane crash.

  why not say.."in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the families who suffered this loss?

  My grandfather's funeral was the same way. The obituary said the exact same thing, but there was still some flowers.

  i have been inactive now for over a half a year, and i am just now realizing that there was not one thing i enjoyed about being a witness.

  i enjoyed my friends and association with witnesses, and still do.

  but i didn't enjoy one thing that we were supposed to do, not one.

  I didn't like the door to door work. I dreaded the TMS talks, and I never liked commenting much either. It did have a sort of structure and certianty that I miss in an odd kind of way at times. Ignorance can indeed be bliss, but once you are no longer ignorant you can never go back.

  but what was the benefit?

  the jews get the same ressurection as everyone else.
