  for anyone who wants to know whether or not following the bible literally is beneficial or not, here's a tongue-in-cheek blog by tim ferriss, a self-described agnostic jew from new york, who gave it a try.

  I don't drink coffee, but I do have this oversized coffee mug that says "ACME LABS" covered in green slime along with Pinky, and the Brain around the outside, and on the inside it has a radiation hazard symbol. I'm at work so I can't take a picture of it right now.

  American tax rebate: How will you spend yours? Will it help the economy?

  it appears that both political parties and economists are agreeing on the need for a tax rebate.

  the white house has a proposal in mind, and the democrats seem to be in line.. so will this help head off a recession?

  and will you "do your part" .

  Struggling to throw my contact lenses away!

  when i first started wearing (soft) contact lenses, in around 1986, they were prescribed for wearing for six months, i think, before being replaced.

  over the years the technology has become better, they've become cheaper, and wear time has become shorter... three months... one month... .

  now i'm wearing two-week (water-wada-wada-oxygen-permeable-completely-inexpensive-state-of-the-art) contact lenses.. but damn, when i have to throw the little critters in the bin or down the drain after two weeks, i feel guilty as heck!

  I wore the two-week contacts for a while before I got lazy, and went back to just wearing glasses. By the end of the two weeks they'd be very uncomfortable for me to wear, and I couldn't wait to get a new pair out. Oh, and I did clean them like I was told. :)

  I cut out caffinated stuff a few years ago.
  
  This came up on another board I visit, and someone actually posted a youtube video of himself eating 10 teaspoons of sugar. He didn't throw up, but constantly ingesting all that caffine and sugar can't be good for you.

  1980's Pop Song that Ends with Ahhhhhh

  this might be a difficult question, but i am going to ask it anyway.

  someone here probably knows the answer.. does a pop song probably from the 1980's sung by a solo female artist that ends with several lines of "ahhhhhh" sound familiar to anyone?.

  the song ends with the singer modulating "ahhhhhh" for at least 20 seconds.. when this song is played over the radio the dj's sometime "sing" along with the "ahhhhh" part.. ahhhhhh ahhhhhhh ah ahh ahh ahhhhhhh ahhhhhhh a".

  what i did was totally out of character for me.

  i had a sharp pare of scissors in my hand and i was just so angry.

  before i knew what happened i had thrust them forward... over and over... once i finally stopped i just couldn't believe the mess everywhere.

  I've contacted Homeland Security, the penalties for linen terrorism is very harsh. I bet they raise the linen terror level from 300 to 400 thread count on account of this.
