  Taking predictions for the 2007 memorial partakers!!

  i'm doing this well in advance so that all the wonderful people on jwd can look back later and see just how close they were to the actual number!

  (it is possible the wts might stop publishing the partaker numbers) in a few days, i will duly record the link to this thread for future reference.. remember that there were 8524 partakers in 2005 and 8758 partakers in 2006, an increase of 234 partakers.

  so how many remnant will partake in 2007??.

  what is the matter with people anyway??

  you guys know that i went to california because my sister in law is dying... while i was there my sister and my mother who flew out there and met me, made it a living hell for me.

  all week long riding my ass about what they considered proper "behavior" for the circumstances which i apparently was incapable of performing.

  How many remember the 1969 8 day convention?

  anybody remember the 8 day 1969 international convention.

  i was at the braves stadium in atlanta all 8 days with a sunburn and then wet clothes after the rain storms.

  if you were there (not necessarily in atlanta) do you remember anything about it?

  I remember the crappy motel and that my mother would make the bed everyday before left for the stadium. The maids must have thought known the JWs were nuts.

  In the late 70's my mother (a lifetime JW) was a bookkeeper for a JWs business. He was using investors money to supplement is income and pay previous investors back. My mother went to the elders and they told her it was none of her business and to keep her mouth shut (she did the Christian JW thing kept her mouth shut.). She quit the job and never worked for a JW again.
