hello all.. first of all i wanted to say thank you for all the help i've received from you all in recent months.

my life has changed completed in such a short amount of time, and some of the things that have happened recently have finally just "hit" me as of late.

i definitely need to take more time to just stop and think, actually accept the changes, and adjust.

i'm not a big fan of surgery.

i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.

i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.

Dude, I had mono in May of 2006. I missed 3 days of work. It had been years since I watched daytime TV. I suddenly realized how fat America's stay-at-home moms must be. Every 10 mins there was another commercial for a diet pill or weight loss program. Take a god damn walk, ladies!

Birthday Party- an Attempt at Your First

okay, so i'm planning my own birthday party/get-together/something as i want to do something fun for my 21st.. the thing is.. i don't know what to do, besides go out and get drunk.

most of friends... okay the two or three i have... are now use to *not* having to get me anything because they are cheap and took advantage of knowing a jw kid.

but, now i want to do something and i have no idea about doing it.. it stil seems kinda silly to me, to celebrate a day that is like any other day, but i will be twenty-effing-one and i've never been a drinker or party-type-guy.

I've got an idea: go to an improv comedy theater, or failing that, a comedy club. You'll have laughs, a couple drinks...it'll be fun.

Nose, I did that as one of my 30th b-day celebrations. Unfortunately, one of the comics was making light of being abused (choked) by a s/o. My ex-husband had done that to me. I spent a significant part of the evening running back and forth to the bathroom in tears. NOT FUN!!!
