CA has ultimately screwed themselves w/ this move. If I were a CA resident, I would march into the payroll department tomorrow morning and change my filing status so that I would either get no refund or even owe a bit at the end of 2009.

I never even started watching this series until right after New Years. I bought the first four seasons for one of my girlfriends for Christmas and, since we room together, I started watching it from the beginning. At first Jack was my favorite. I've always thought that Matthew Fox was, well, a Fox, but after watching all of the seasons, by far, my fave character is Sawyer. I love all the nicknames that he gives people, especially Hurley (Jumbotron). My fave episode was his flashback to prison and his ex-girlfriend came to tell him that he was a father. His reaction to her plea to write his daughter a letter had me laughing for days. "What am I supposed to write, 'Dear, Goo goo, gaa gaa'? IT'S A BABY"

Not at all. I had a good day. In fact, I had a great day. I am just being honest about the overall attitude and demeanor of the majority of the people that I have met from here. It's quite pathetic.

No. I would gladly take some of the closed-minded, judgemental, haughty, and ignorant friends that I made as a JW over 80% of the people that I have met in person from JWD. Many of you need to be in a fucking mental institution.

I was down in the dumps last night and couldn't sleep. At 4:30am I read this thread before going back to bed. I had a dream about my sister and I woke up even sadder than I was. I miss her so much. Str8?, can I cry w/ you?

The same thing happened to me, sans the gay part, and I posted a short ad in Columbus, OH w/ the title, "Does anyone know First and Last name?" I just wrote a few sentences about who I was, just enough details for people to not think I am a stalker or serial killer, and that I was looking to reconnect. W/in 24 hours someone responded and got me in contact w/ her. Good luck!

Flipper, no offense personally to you or your wife, but I checked out E-Harmony a few years ago. I am in no way interested in spending that kind of money for the seemingly low-quality and, quite unattractive, guys who are members of that site. The people on the commercials are actors...and bad ones at that. Congrats if you had a good experience w/ it, but you are definitely in the minority.
