I am sorry, but is this your most serious concern about the Org? I think there are more disturbing things going on, but since you asked, I'll chime in.

First off, most "sisters" entering Bethel will be the wife of a "brother" who is already serving there or who is entering w/ her, i.e. not a virgin. Secondly, if the "brothers" could still be considered for entrance having had a former life of homosexuality and pedophilia, then I can't possibly see how a "sister" losing her virginity could be such a big deal. However, the Org is full of hypocrisy from top to bottom, so I guess it could be a possiblity. But third, how could they possibly check for something like that? This is the 21st century. W/ the invention of tampons, many girls can break their hymen w/ the applicator. Also, if a girl partakes in regular physical activity, it can break as well.

After reading your 2nd thread about your CO confiding in you about thinking the Org doesn't have the "truth", I'm agreeing w/ the first poster here. I think this account is a troll.

this would be awesome if it was true. i'm finding your posts very hard to believe. sorry.

I dont mean to sound direspectful here, so please excuse me if I am out of line, but has anyone else noticed the flood of newbies posting their first thread introducing themselves? I think it's great to have new members, but most of us joined JWD and lurked for a while before getting the courgage to be vocal. I guess it could be possible in light of recent events, i.e Barbara Anderson's CD and the Sept KM, but could something else be going on?

right now he is still using a training device called the litter kwitter and is starting to master the act of hopping up on the toilet to use it!

I've seen that skit several times on tv and on youtube. I watched it 3 times tonight. It is not an Awake magazine. Not only does it have a glossy cover, but it is a lot thicker than an Awake. To me, it looked more like a celebrity gossip mag. I think the child in the mag was one of the 200 children adopted by Angelia Jolie.

i haven't been to a meeting in going on 2 years and have moved since my last one.

i don't know any jws in my city, never even seen one on the street, and have been looking for the nearest kh.

i am going to check the schedule and see when their service meeting is.

You are having some post guilt about the JWs I had that very disorder when I started to fade.

No, sorry, I am not. There's not one bit of guilt here. I've never thought it was the truth. I had a teeny bit at first, but the more I am out and see what's going on, the more I am sickened. I never felt that JWs were my "true friends". I've felt the exact opposite. I've had more loyalty from a stray dog who crosses my path when I'm on a run. Besides, the only "disorder" I have is called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, due to my upbringing, my absent father, and my abusive marriage.

The last convo I had w/ my baby sis, she called me an apostate and poison to her faith. I asked her out of all the things she's heard me say to tell me the one thing that bothers her the most. Her answer was, "When you said the governing body is mind controlling." Well hot damn, what comes out in a KM 2 months later? An article telling JWs that they aren't to read any publications that aren't written by the WTS. I'm sure she's not the only one who has had the seed planted and dwells on it every day.
