It's a good idea. But if you're going to focus on lies, I'd recommend that
you turn the focus away from JWs generally and focus on the efforts of the JWs
leaders to seem exclusive (the only leaders of a literal 144,000) and claim that
the best evidence and reasoning proves their 12 or so distinctive/relatively
distinctive rules were meant by the scriptures. They've claimed that to sell
literature that since the earliest years of Russell, and, considering their
methods, it's silly to think any of them could have thought it was true.

Jehovah's Witness Websites
by God_Delusion inhi guy's.. hope everyone is well.. i am so disgusted with jehovah's witnesses.
i'm not df'd yet, but that's only because it would cause massive problems within my wife's family (her brother is an elder and his wife is pregnant with their first child.
if i get df'd, we won't be able to talk to them out of their love for us; go figure), although my wife or me haven't been to meetings in ages.. anyway, i have created a new blog jehovah's witness lies.

3. What are the first steps for telling your partner they are nuts for wanting
anything to do with the JWs?
You can probably find a lot for that in what I have on the JWs leaders at the
next link:

I'm not anti-JWs followers, either. I like the JWs I met, and I don't like
people that get so 'centric about their belief or non-belief group that they
won't be friends with anyone outside their group. Something like the way Peter Popoff or
the JWs leaders create a phony exclusiveness and people can get hurt or die over
it, that's different. As Teller once said about Popoff's followers, if you
think he's victimizing them, why would you want to victimize them, too? -

With all the advances in science, maybe they should come up with something
that causes similar effects but doesn't impair your ability to drive, etc. No
money for organized crime, no health impairments, no extra car wrecks, etc. -

Joshua asked God to let the Sun stand still.....and he did it? How? Why?
by Witness 007 injoshua wasn't done butchering people, "not enough time in the day" to chop up "god's enemies" so he says: "yeah hi jehovah, just wondering if you could make the sun stand still for me so i can continue the slaughter...thanks.
" no problem!
god stops the earths rotation {which should cause it to drift from the sun or crash into the moon} and holds it for joshua.

The JWs leaders' claim that they stick to scripture is often misunderstood.
It's tied to their claim that they don't play prophet, such as that they never
forecast Armageddon during WWII.
"During World War I God's people expected it to lead directly into Armageddon,
but Jehovah prevented such a climax at that time. We didn't succumb to such an
expectation during World War II." ("Kingdom Ministry," Jan.,1968, p.5)
This is meant in the sense of them having done it every year of WWII, includ-
ing the years before the USA got involved.

And that's how they stick to scripture. -

Womenly subjection
by vikesgirl101 indoes anybody remember which scripture it is in the greek scriptures (i want to say it was of paul's writings) that the jw's used as a reason that women had no privileges that a man could have in the congregation?
i remember doing research on it for a return visit.
basically the jist of it is that because of eve's sin, all women are inferior.

"The Classic Car Club of America rates all V-16s as CCCA Full Classics, a
rating reserved for only the finest automobiles of the 1925–1948 period. Values
reflect these opinions; particularly fine examples of the 1930 production can
change hands for more than US$500,000 as of 2004[update]. As always, con-
vertibles are the most valued, and the earlier cars more so than the 1938-40
vehicles."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac_V-16
If it can be shown that it was Rutherford's, the price would go up.
