^ Why discriminate? I think if a JWs leader lies not caring if people are hurt ot killed, they've joined the worst of whatever believers or non-believers and not those of either group who wouldn't do that.

yet from it's inception by ct russel it promoted a unique brand of biblical beliefs that were meant to be accepted as bible truth, 1799 1874/1914, miracle wheat, the pleiades star constellation, the occult content found in the studies in the scriptures/divine plan of the ages etc, would jesus himself have selected a religious group who were promoting such beliefs?
impossible, also russel was embroiled in a serious sex scandal that was never satisfactorily answered.. the reign of joe rutherford whose first proclamation was to announce that he had served as a district judge, which was shown to be a lie, he went on to build beth sharim a luxurious house in expectation of the resurrection to earth of the faithful worthies , a failed prophecy that surprisingly failed to come true.

Christians explain? Jews never believed in a Trinity even today so how/when did it start?

Christianity originated among Jewish people. The Jewish people who didn't
believe in Jesus as Christians do interpreted various things differently--that
Jesus wasn't descended from David, didn't fulfill prophecies, so wasn't the
Messiah, etc., and don't believe in the NT. -

Picked up REVOLVER remastered.....
by lepermessiah injust to continue on the beatles thread...... i finally got around to picking up revolver remastered and all i can say is wow......and that is impressive for an album that i have listened to countless times over the years.. i have never tried acid, but the remaster of tomorrow never knows at extremely loud volumes certainly was a "trip".....the horns on got to get you into my life were incredible!!
i could go down the track list and pick out things that really blew me away.. they did a wonderful job of cleaning up the tape noise and really enhancing the sound of the cd's as well as the packaging and liner notes.
the first cd releases were disappointing to say the least when it came to the transfer and the liner notes.

I don't like anyone being hurt or killed in the name of a belief or non-belief
outlook, either, and there's been too much of both. I wouldn't settle for any-
thing less than God telling me Himself before I did different (it's never come
up), but there should be a distinction that it's not a problem for the God con-
cept itself.

Without getting into the explanations again, it deals with God's prerogative.
He isn't meant as an all-beneficent God or we'd all live in heavenly circum-
stances forever but we all die and some under pretty bad circumstances. The best
you can do is be glad for your shot at life and what good you found in it (like
Job), etc. That He has us all die I think is a bigger issue than anything else
about battles or Revelations but is fair game as part of the concept of His
prerogative, etc.
Another part of the prerogative can be thought of in three tiers of beings--
that people are much lesser beings to God than animals are to people (an ad-
mittedly bad analogy since people don't have God's prerogative). A person might
love a pet dog (similar to a case of God taking someone to heaven) but think
nothing of having a hamburger (though if the cow could talk it might make a case
about people like some of those above about God). They never consider themself
a murderer that needs to be executed as if they did that to someone on their
tier of being. A person might not want any pets or ever rescue an animal from a
shelter or medical lab yet be entitled to think they're a nice person. They
think it's their prerogative. It's sort of like that.
We can't test an ancient example, and maybe a person wants to have faith in
that God or not. But in a present day example (someone executed for changing
their faith in certain Muslim countries, whatever persecution or death from
whichever belief or non-belief stance about the others), I'd want those who
claim God wants it to happen to let us see God make an announcement that He
wants it to happen or knock it off. And, again, I think it's wrong because I
haven't seen that happen.

On the part of Russell and the JWs leaders, I don't see much difference be-
tween their claim of being the only leaders and rule makers of a literal 144,000
and any other claim of being a prophet or healer or the return of the Messiah,
etc. The rest of the JWs leaders' 144,000 don't have much say in the thing or
have the money sent to them--the "144,000" is just window dressing. -
