  can someone please provide some sources of quotes of russell's about hell as death?

  i remember he tended to force the choice between agony in literal fire and death, and that a kind god would make it death, etc.

  (i think an atheist might consider it kinder to go on living in apartness from god than be dead, but russell seemed to skip that possibility.).

  JWs leaders:pacifist?

  about a generaton ago, the jws leaders' stance was that a jw could defend themself--john 15:13 ("the watchtower," june 1, 1968, p.347).

  it was their expanded rules about worldliness that prevented jws from being able to work for the government, including the police and military and defend others.. the jws leaders still have expanded ideas about worldliness and government involvement.

  but do the jws leaders still allow a jw to defend themself or have they changed that to pacifism?.

  i've been writing down russell's chronology (no, i don't believe a word of it).

  he had 539 ad to 1799 ad as 1,260 "days.

  " 1799 ad (the pope had to go to napolean; the ability for the papacy to persecute was waning) to 1914 ad was the end times period.

  i'm sorry if this has been covered before--i'm new here.. does anyone have anything to corroborate the claim that russell used healing handkerchiefs?

  (i read the page in which he basically implies that if you donate money to him you're less likely to get sick.).
