Wow, you have a Judge? What a keeper!
Erasmus (1520 AD): "If we want truth, every person ought to be free to speak what they think without fear."
well, a post on the good ol days got me thinking about the vehicles people drive and why.
in the jws, a vehicle had to be appropriate for service, four doors, holding at least five.
i remember back in 1978 i bought an mgb and the brothers had a fit (hehe), i was selfish, etc.,.

well, we had our radio show on sunday with the jehovah's witnesses and i don't think it went all that well, namely because it turned into a game of rhetoric.
(if you listened, i would love to hear your thoughts).. .
2 tim 2 :14 says- keep reminding them of these things.
metatron: Good point! I agree with your viewpoint on John. I feel the same way about Revelation to.
Also, it is funny that over 30 chapters in the Bible are dedicated to the building of the Tabernacle, however, not one paragraph is written on this most important subject of the Trinity. Truly food for thought!

Well, Ray Franz summed it up quite nicely: Christ is divine, it is the extent of his divinity that is in question. Good book to read “When Jesus Became God.”

Well, a post on the good ‘ol days got me thinking about the vehicles people drive and why. In the Jws, a vehicle had to be appropriate for “service,” four doors, holding at least five. I remember back in 1978 I bought an MGB and the brothers had a fit (hehe), I was selfish, etc.,. However, One sister (who was a close relative to a member of the GB) drove around in a VW bug with no comments.
As an Elder, I always had a van for service, however, the last year I served as an elder (98), I bought another MGB (1980) and drove her to Elder meetings. Got the looks, however no one said anything. Today, I drive all “older” cars, just because they give me a good feeling inside. I drive a 1967 VW bus, 1970 Karmann Ghia and a 1973 Super Beetle.
How about the list members? Any good vehicle service stories? Also, what do you drive now, and does it in any way reflect your personality?
Erasmus (1520 AD): "If we want truth, every person ought to be free to speak what they think without fear."
take a break.... close your eyes.....and go back in time.... before the internet and dvd's.
before semi-automatic machine guns, joyriders and crack .... before sega, ps2 or super nintendo...way back..... i'm talking about hide and seek in the park.
the corner shop, hopscotch, butterscotch, skipping, handstands, football with an old can, bulldog, beano, twinkle and roly poly, hula hoops, jumping in enormous puddles and building dams... when astro wars, 'computer' tennis, pac-man and donkey-kong ruled.... the smell of the sun and fresh cut grass.
Wow, I think this is why I drive the old, “feel good” vehicles. I drive a 1967 “split window” VW bus. Hula girl on the dash.....it is a great feeling just cruising down the road.........My backup car is a 1970 VW Karmamm Ghia....same feeling, brings back the good ‘ol days.
Erasmus (1520 AD): "If we want truth, every person ought to be free to speak what they think without fear."
lots of jehovah's witnesses all over the world can be found in prisons all over the world, and the question is why.
these figures are from 1991 to 1998. interesting figures from england - because these were not in prison because of the military issue!.

Well, someone has to preach in prison. Jehovah has placed his people in prison so all can hear the Good News.
PS: Sorry, I’m having JW withdrawals........Wow, can't belived I wrote this...........
