its easy too criticize a religion.any person can do that.trash talking isnt accepted that well amongst the majority of people.why not find something better too offer people.now that would be a better thing too do.this board will probably fizzle out after a while.

you will be happy to know that the board saw a new peak in registrants for the past month of 375, surpassing our last peak in june during aux pioneer season.
special thanks to regular pioneer hawkaw who was no doubt responsible for much of the fine growth during the last month.

really how long it took you to find out the truth about the truth or at least to become really distrust about the whole thing, and why.. to start i just knew, by summer 1974, that big a was not comming on 1975. the oil embargo, nixon etc kept me worry for a while.
i even resigned a very lucrative and promising job to piooner.
After feeling something was just not right while serving as an elder, I read Fay Franz's First book, Crisis of Conscience and then I knew the org was just another man made religion. However, I still kept going.
Then I read Ray’s second book, “In Search of Christian Freedom,” which addressed the JW belief system. Then I understood that a good number of “truths” could be view more than one way, that was it for me............this took place over a period of two years.

i realized the bondage i was under as one of jehovah's witnesses and left the organization.
it pressed fear, paranoia, and even anger in me that i wasn't used to.
i started to resent being one.

do you think we could learn anything from them?
do you think this community might learn anything about the ways in which they organise themselves?
Well, is this a new term for communism? If so, so far, it has not worked on a national/international scale. Capitalism (i.e. America) seems to be the best bet, even considering the human equation.
