Window Peepers

so today one of the local elders came around to "check out how you are doing.".

i didn't really feel like putting up with the interrogation, or the false concern so i decided that i didn't "hear" the doorbell.

the guy decided he needed to circle my home and peek in the windows to see if i was home or not.

I'm not a woman so I am not worried about that particular aspect of the harassment, but I am getting fed up with the phony concern. This all from the same bunch who read me the riot act when I said I was no longer going to dance to their tune and I was quitting "reaching out". I am one of the ones that as "elder" A said were reprehensible (married a non-jw fifteen years ago), "elder" B said I was not a husband of one wife (jw ex-wife committed adultery and married her new boyfriend twenty years ago), "elder C said no matter how spiritual I tried to be I was only good for field serve us and scrubbing the hall toilets. So basically to Hades with them, and now they are all "concerned" about how I am?

What about your poor wife? She's living in the same house that this creep elder is peeping in. Give her a way to protect herself iust in case this guy is more disturbed than a nosey elder, and call the police the next time he peeps.

I'm surprised her mom told her about the cancer diagnosis. My mom refused to tell me what her diagnosis was when she was in the hospital with serious symptoms. I got wind of her hospitalization from "worldly" relatives. My mom was so angry that I'd been informed that she refused to tell anyone what was wrong wih her for fear that it would get back to her df'd kids.

I've been out and shunned for 25 years, so I find none of this as shocking. Over time I'v come to realize that shunning isn't that difficult for gung ho jws, because they're conditioned to let loved ones and even themselves die over the blood issue.

My Left Leg Was Amputated

i have been out of commission for several weeks.

back around the first of the year i developed an infection in my left foot.

due to diabetes and poor circulation the doctors were unable to save my foot and so i received a below the knee amputation.

JC was formed, without even letting me know!?

no one will take my intent to da or df seriously.

they called me again (three brothers this time) and asked me to meet with them.

i had no intention of doing so....simply told them there was nothing to talk about.. .

You made the right decision to skip the jc. As painful as it may be to have your name announced as no longer being a jw, you will be totally free. No more random phone calls to try to change your sexuality, your goals, and your dreams. And any pain your family feels is self-inflicted. You had the intelligence and insight to see the Watch Tower cult for what it is, and it is NOT your fault that they can't do the same.

Any normal parents would be so proud of what you've accomplished at such a young age...how far you are in college, your full time job, and the fact that you pay your own bills and support yourself. You will NOT fail, my dear, because you don't have it in you....never did and never will.

a while back we ran a "competition" whereby people could pose questions of candace conti and rick simons for them to answer in a video.. there were so many questions that we needed to do a series rather than just one video.

Girl scout cookies are demonized

okay so i think it might be the concussion making me go on this rant...not too sure.. the girl scouts started selling their cookies yesterday and for the first time in my life i will be ordering cookies.....i mean wtf is so wrong with ordering cookies from them?

i love the thin mint's and guess what?

you can only buy them from girl scouts!!!!!!.

I think Girl Scout cookies are demonized....well, at least the Samoas, LOL! They actually call to me from my kitchen cupboards.

companions and carers.

yesterday i had the duty of care to take our feline companion of 20 years to the vet to be euthanized.. i took a tin of his fav tuna and gave him a last meal at the vets to settle him as the needle and medication did its work.. he died peacefully and in no pain.

my wife and i buried him in the garden next to a another older moggie.. i had the duty to email this sad news to the family who have largely grown up with him.. i sat in my back room and cried bitterly.

i will miss him terribley and his head rubbs him checking on me once i was in bed and all his ways.. sleep well..... time for another cry..

I'm so sorry, Zeb. I know how difficult it is, having lost several furry family member over the years. The way I get through the grief is knowing that one pet leaving this world leaves room for another animal that needs a good home.
