I open doors or keep them open, step out of the way for disabled or older people. i dont very often give up my seat as i usually faint when standing on a crowded train, i get embaressed that i dont give my seat up though, as of course no one else would know that i would faint otherwise. when i was younger and travelling with my sister i would make her give up her seat to sit on my lap if there was someone old or pregnant. I get very annoyed at people who dont say please and thankyou and even more annoyed at people who eat with their mouth open. i'm one of those weird people who says thankyou to parents if their children are polite, because i appreciate the work theyve put in.

by JH inoften i'm following someone into a building and entering the same door, and most of the times, the person in front won't even try to keep the door open so that it wont close in my face.
knowing that someone is right behind me, i'll even wait a second or two and hold the door open for that person.
i guess it has to do with being well educated.

Ex JWs that suffered to an unusual degree
by greendawn indo you know of ex jws that suffered greatly due to the policies of the wts?
i personally don't know any but i suppose those that left behind parents, spouse and children got a very bad deal since the wts dictates shunning from all these.
also those that lost relatives to the blood policy.

So, can I suppose that xxxx will only want to know me if they think that there's a possibility that I may convert, and if that fails, which believe me it will, will then wash their hands of me?" This was question i was asked. i want to reply with a RECENT watchtower quote or something from recent literature(2000 onwards please, 2005/6 would be best, even better would be 2007 but i hav no idea what WBTS writing about at the moment?) im no longer a witness, and threw all my literature. Have tried searching on web but im a bit rubbish.

by Rethinking infirst time posting, long time lurking.. came upon this site on accident a few years ago and dismissed it as a site for disgruntled people; however, in the past months i actively searched for it as it stuck in my mind.
believe it or not, i practically read all of the topics.
i felt, wow, i wasn't alone in my thinking and feelings about some things.. it all started years ago in my last year in high school and then into college.

My sister's in ICU

no one knows how long she had been there.
she was hypothermic when they found her.

i have been watching for several days.
they have run articles on conscientious objectors, shunning, banned movies and music (how to choose entertainment), proper subjects for prayer.....there have been more than 5 or 6 matches.
