im my case: no!
i wouldnt tell them either. if they would ask and its too private for me i would just lie. they do not need to know and i know a "no, i wont say" is not acceptable for them. crazy shit.

If someone told you they would give you $10 M,,,,,, if you,,,,,,
by AK - Jeff injust closed your eyes, threw a dart at the world map, and would have to take the 10 million, get on a plane within the hour, move to that location, and never look back, contact your friends or relatives again.
no rule changes.
you can take your mate and/or minor children, but can tell no one else.

in my current situation i would do it! all my "best" friends are likely do hate me soon nevertheless. my relatives are happier with me vanished from earth as with me being an apostate. only postive or neutral effects + 10 million. what can a dub who lived a nice dub life and suddenly realized the truth want more? its basically a new life a new start. thats priceless.
i would try hitting canada or australia. -

"Organization will hinder all growth...."
by bob1999 inso who said this?
"for when the power of organization is once felt, it will soon be used to frown down and hinder all growth in grace and knowledge, and to suppress all teaching and teachers not in harmony with the errors and bondage of said unions.
the only union and bondage which god has ever authorized in his children, is the union between each individual and christ the head....."

1914 - Is this literature still current ?
by AlphaOmega inthis is strange, i read that in 1995 they did away with the "generation" teaching, yet the official watchtower website still says this, over 12 years later !.
thus, all the features of the last days must take place within the lifetime of one generation, the generation of 1914. so some people who were alive in 1914 will still be alive when this system comes to its end.
that generation of people is now very advanced in years, indicating that there is not much time left before god brings this present system of things to an end.. http://www.watchtower.org/library/pr/article_07.htm.

How did bible story pictures affect you?
by unique1 inedited because someone came through with the picture and i think this deserves it's own topic.. i am deathly, i mean deathly afraid of snakes.
most people don't understand or grasp the exent i am afraid of them until they see the ultimate reaction.
my husband witnessed the worst one since we have been together the other week.

of course its intentional. openly. even the youngest ones have to learn about god and his behaviour towards sinners (aka non-WTS-lovers). it creates the beneficial fear of disobeing jehovah god (aka the WTS) even in minors. and you get used to apocalyptic prophecies.
most jw would fully agree to that but only name it differently. since it is so incredible important to follow god (aka the WTS) its good and nothing but good to plant this fear in the youngest ones already... they wont leave that path when they grow up...
how wonderful. -

How did you feel when first posting on JWD?
by R.F. ini was in heavy doubt about the organization, but still in the back of my mind i was a bit hesitant of posting because it was the "unforgivable sin".
i think it took me 20 minutes to type my first post.
i still felt that once i submitted my post that a bolt of lightning was going to come down upon me, so my hands were shaking as i was typing.

i felt quite good, because i posted somewhere else before ;D
but on my first post ever on an APOSTATEā¢ site i had my heard pounding... i didnt felt like i was doing an unforgivable sin though. -

Isn't Jehovah an Awesome God?
by neverendingjourney indoesn't jehovah deserve to be lauded for his loving kindness?
jehovah deserves to be praised for the intense love he feels for us all, even while in the womb.
his word, the bible, tells us that before he formed each and every one of us in the womb, he knew us.

totally wrong. its satans work. he was leading mankind to rebellion and sin. the sin is a desease which all of that problems created. of course noone knows how "sin" created this "imperfection". bacteria which attack humans are well build and complex. even the process of aging is not simple. if you believe that animals wasnt eating meat in the paradise the altering of the animals is also a immense complex task. a whole new ecosystem.
DOESNT THIS NEED A DESIGNER?
who may be this designer? who took the perfection as a punishment for sin from earth? -

0.22% chance of being born into true religion as JW!!!!!
by Qcmbr ini've just been reading some cool books, one, freakonomics is very very good at revealing why statistics are important and we make a lot of assumptions based on false info.
well anyway i decided on a purely statistical front to use the rough figures found on the pages below: .
