How many of you drank water from the outside water hose and shared that same hose with your friends? It's amazing that we made it!

LOL, yeah damn those ladies in bra and panties! My fanatical mother use to rip the pages out of the magazines. If she only knew my brothers had Playboy under their mattresses she would have had a stroke.

THE SPOILED UNDER-30 CROWD!!!
If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears
with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with walking Twenty-five miles to school every morning
Uphill... barefoot...
BOTH ways
Yadda, yadda, yadda
And I remember promising myself that when I grew up,
there was no way in hell I was going to lay
a bunch of crap like that o n kids about how hard I had it
and how easy they've got it!
But now that... I'm over the ripe old age of
thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today.
You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my
childhood, you live in a damn Utopia!
And I hate to say it but you kids today you
don't know how good you've got it!
I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, We had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalogue!!
There was no email!! We had to actually write
somebody a letter, with a pen!
Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!
Child Protective Services didn't care if our parents beat us. As a matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick our ass! No where was safe!
There were no MP3' s or Napsters ! You wanted to
steal music, you had to hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself!
Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ'd usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up!
There were no CD players! We had tape decks in our car. We'd play our favorite tape and "eject" it when finished and the tape would come undone.cause that's how we rolled dig?
We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting ! If you
were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it!
And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either!
When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your mom, your boss, your Bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister!
We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video
games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600 ! With games like ' Space Invaders ' and 'asteroids'. Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever!
And you could never win. The game just kept getting
harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!
You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel! There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning . Do you hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK
for cartoons, you spoiled
little rat-bastards!
And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat
something up we had to use the stove ... Imagine that!
That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids
today have got it too easy.
You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted
five minutes back in 1980 or before!
Regards,
The over 30 Crowd
(Send this to someone you'd like to make smile,
Whether they are under 30 or not.)
i read the last two posts on my previous thread last night and i thought about posting, but to be honest i found them hurtful and i was angry enough that my post would have been very harsh, so i took a step back and figured i could let it go until today when i wouldnt feel the need to really say what im thinking about the previous posts.. purplesofa, the bible study was actually a walk in the park, we went out to lunch and just talked about the economy, obama and saving money, we went over maybe five paragraphs in the new book and that was that, all i did was recite the answers straight from the book.
as to why i went to the meeting, well what can i say?
im like super interested in becoming a pioneer and maybe going to bethel!.
Cleaning sores for a loved one, taking care of a sick relative or good friend, doing errands for someone who can't are all very noble and what most people do for ones they care for.
Having a bible study, transporting people to and from cult meetings, and sitting though these same cult meetings to make someone else happy is just plain silly IMO. If you were df'd or da'd these same people probably would look the other way if you were laying in the gutter and just needed someone to piss on you to make you better. Oh not to mention the "creepy elder". Just tell him to $*&^ off!
Do what you have to do, but don't get upset when you put it out there and don't get the response you need or want. There is nothing childish about standing up for what you believe or don't believe or doing things you want to do, not what others want you or expect you to do. That's called being an adult, making your own decisions and dealing with the consequenses of that decision.

fe2o3baby2 was born on friday morning at 6:20am, weighed 8lb 10oz, and we are all doing well.. on thursday i had some niggly pain and light bleeding but no progression.
i had a bath in the evening and added rose, lavendar and clary sage oil to the water.
i was woken up by my contractions at about 2am on friday morning.
I've never heard of a TENS unit being used for labor and delivery. I'm not so sure how that could help Uterine Contractions. I've used one for back pain but labor.

i know, sorry...this must be tiring for you to hear but i feel glad.
i need it and it gives me hope that there may be a good guy out there for me.
snowbird...any comments?
Why are you even thinking about marraige already? Just because you go on a date with someone doesn't mean you will marry that person. Why don't you try having a little fun, without pressure just to see if you are even compatible with this person?
The possibility of this person being "the right one" and marraige should not be the first thing on your mind right now especially since you haven't even gone on the first date yet.
Calm down, take a deep breath and just enjoy your date. And please don't scare him away by talking about marraige already.
