Friday - fs (evening and my mom had a bible study she would drag me on)
Saturday - fs
Sunday - meeting
Monday - meeting

Growing up a dub - favourite day of the week?
by Mickey mouse inmine was monday.
the weekend with it's endless ministry and drawn out meeting was over.
monday was the day i got to be a normal kid; school, homework and collapse in front of the tv.

How many TIMES can a JW be DF'd before the ELDERS dismiss them PERMANENTLY?
by african GB Member ini know a "sister" who has been df'd 10 times for adultery within a period of 15 years..... she is married....her hubby was an elder until she got df'd for the 1st time...he was then deleted....apparently the sister was not happy in the bedroom, he was always away doing cong duties, including jcs....... she keeps getting reinstated, and usually it does'nt take long for her (not the usual 6 months).....apparently she is a very good actress (she cries like a baby in the jcs )..... how many times can she keep getting df'd and reinstated like this until the elders say it is enough?.

I don't remember for each time. I do remember once when one of them was out for about two years. They never stopped coming to meetings though. Sitting in the back looking stupid each and every time.
I only remember that time because this particular brother would always take me to the city to the museum, parks and street festivals. I was pissed cause my parents wouldn't let me go with him cause he was df'd and we were not supposed to talk to him.
The other times as I got older I really didin't care because I wasn't a JW then so it didn't matter.

I have great pleasure in reminding them how many times they have been given the boot whenever they get preachy with me They are both in their 50's now so maybe they have learned how to follow the JW rules and regulations since neither of them can seem to stay away from the cult, LOL

Isaac - I double checked with my older non-jw brother and no exagerating at all! As teenagers one was df'd 3 times the other 4. As adults one was df'd 2 times the other 4!!
They are super righteous, uber dubs now.
Edited: to correct mid to late teens and early twenties. Per my normal brother

Hell, my brothers have been df'd about 7 times each and now they are super holy elders. I guess there is no limit!

by Nellie inpart of the problem is that he's unemployed right now, so i really can't afford to spend a lot of money.. part of the problem is that because he's unemployed right now, things have become kinda stressed between us two.. part of the problem is that tomorrow is our 27th wedding anniversary and it's tomorrow!!!!.
part of the problem is that because of the 3 problems above, i'm brain dead!

That's what baby sitters are for You gotta keep that spark no matter how old you are. Before my kids were all out of the house we would kick them out at least twice a month for some "private time". As they got older and were able to drive we would tell them not to come home before a certain time, LOL.
Once my middle son called around 11pm and asked "can I come home now"? Enjoy your anniversary

I Have A New Car!!!
by snowbird inwell, it's new to me, anyway.. it's an '01 saturn l200.. i bought it off my nephew for $1,285.50.. as some of you may remember, my little '92 grand am was totalled back in november '08.. the good hands insurance company grudgingly paid $1,100 for my baby.. any takers?.
