Thank you all very much for the replies!
@RAF - I'm going to try my hardest to read and understand the Bible on my own. I'll try and stick around to ask other's opinions on scriptures I don't quite understand.
@Nosferatu - That was a big help. I think I gave you the wrong idea about condoms, though. I meant, I have no need for condoms right now. I know that, in the future, I'll be using them to prevent STDs and a pregnancy (and, if I marry my current gf, she'll be using the pill, as neither of us really want her to be pregnant). I'm pretty educated in that matter. As for the passionate stuff, I'll try to talk to her about that. However, I think it's more her conscience that is stopping us from doing those simple things.
@Darth frosty - I know I may sound REALLY naive saying this (and I'm sure you're thinking "He's 17, every teenager says this), but I may not need to break up with her. In fact, we have no intention of breaking up. We believe in working out our problems instead of breaking up over them. We've yet to run into a problem that is big enough to break up over. Oh, and I've been planning out my life, too. Or, at least, what I want it to be. xP
@SirNose586 - Thanks for the welcome! There's a lot I've noticed in differences between churches and the kingdom hall. For one, at churches, no one greets you, or really cares about you for that matter. At the hall, I noticed that everyone is friendly and cares about each other. Secondly, I never truly understood how doctrines like the trinity and hell agree with what churches taught. In fact, they seemed more hypocrytical. What the hall taught made more sense to me.

i have a question involving my girlfriend and i, and i'm hoping to find a moral answer.
my girlfriend and i fell in love two summers ago, and we're still pretty young (we're turning 17 this year).

I guess you guys are right. The problem, though, is that I have a VERY hard time understanding and interpreting the Bible. I believe in a Creator, and after attending normal Christain and Catholic churches, I found more truth in the JW.
Do you have any suggestions? If you can convince me enough, I'll take a pause on attending meetings, and try to understand the Bible myself.
I have to go now, but I'll return within the next few hours to read your responses. Feel free to PM me, as well. Or, you can email me at [email protected].
Thanks.
EDIT : Btw, I have 3 or 4 different translations of the Bible. -

@RAF - Do you have the scripture for that? When I said before that I'm a new JW, I also meant that I still new to the Bible. xP
Thanks to all who've commented so far. -

We didn't have intercourse, and we're not going to until after marraige. Therefore, there is no need for condoms (I can control myself there, otherwise we would've done that when she was here).
@RAF - It's a sin because it's written in the Bible as a sin. Even if we love each other dearly, it's still written in God's word as fornification, something He does not accept. -

My girlfriend and I fell in love two summers ago, and we're still pretty young (we're turning 17 this year). She moved away right after we fell in love, but we decided to give a long distance relationship a shot. We rarely get to see each other. However, this passed summer, she returned for two weeks. During our phone converstations (before she returned), we were discussing how shy we were; how we both doubted that we'd even share our first kiss that summer. Unfortunately, things got a little out of control, and we commited a fornification (although we didn't go 'all the way'). After becoming a witness, I've realized my wrong and regret it to this day. She, too, is a witness and disagrees with what we've done. Not only was it immoral, but it has negatively affected our lives.
Now, my question is, when wanting to show physical affection, when is it considered going too far (according to Jehovah, and in JW standards)? I understand that touching of any sexual body part is considered wrong. However, is passionatley ("french") kissing exceeeding the boundries? Is the kissing of other parts (neck, arms, legs, etc.) going too far?
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and opinions. I know I'm still quite young, but I'd like to know these things so I don't make another mistake in the future.
