Ganache, truffles, Wine? Anybody got a kiss for me?

tonight i made a most delightful ganache with my daughter.

she and i had a lot of fun.

at the end we started stuffing the truffles with blueberries.

it arrived today, i spotted it in an on-line auction a few weeks ago, good price, reputable company with lots of happy customers, too good to resist.. pentium 3 850, 256mb ram, 20gb hd, 2 batteries (charging, yet to see what state they're in) with docking station.

dvd rom and floppy drive on the docking station, got a wireless card ordered for it.

for the dollars not a bad system - man i need to get a life!

Lazy teenager....need help before I lose it!!!

i have a teenage daughter and she is very lazy.

we have to get on her constantly to get her room clean, when asked about her progress, her answer is always"i am working on it".

then when we check, it is usually worse than the day before.

Maybe your work schedule has something to do with it? If your husband works 7 days and you work 5, do you spend the rest of the time with her or constantly nagging her to get her room fixed? If you work such long hours then you can only see her when you come back from work, at which stage you are very tired and probably irritated.

It's estimated the American's spend something like 24x more time away from their kids than with them. You may not want to change your work but sacrifices have to be made to get the respect of your kid back because her disregard of your orders shows that she just does not respect you.

Spend more time with your daughter and stop getting on her back, this way she will do things for you and show you all the respect and love you deserve. For now stop cleaning her clothes altogether and a young teenage girl will find that distressing enough to to get her ass into gear.

Has anyone ever played with a ouija board?

this past weekend, we met a new couple in our campground, and the conversation soon came 'round to the supernatural.

the lady said she has had quite a few supernatural experiences, and that she plays her own home-made version of the ouija board.

my husband was all excited and begged her to play .

Don't mess with Ouija. If there is one bit of advice that you should take it is that. I am pretty much skeptical about stuff like that, but Ouija really screws you up. I've seen too many experiences. Ouija = bad stuff.

I completed my book

i wrote a fictional book that incorperates a lot of how i believe, in a fantasy and some what sci fi story line.

it is only about 140 pages long and i really enjoyed writing it.

my spouse thinks it is fun and original, but i did not write it to get published.

Question from local council regarding minorities and equality - stupid

i received this letter today from the local council which asked me to fill out a questionnaire regarding the color of my skin etc.

the letter said that "in order for us to offer the greatest service possible to all people, regardless of (insert bullshit here), please fill out this form".

but my question is this: if they are planning on treating everybody the same, why should it matter?
