We have a postal system that doesn't work. People talk about these red boxes that people call 'post boxes' although i'm not so sure. When American's ask me for tracking numbers on parcels, I can't give them any. It's more of a case of 'look mate, we stick it in a red box and hope for the best'

Even worse, we RE-elected Blair. Thats if you want to believe that your vote counts. In in dictatorship, such as Neo Labour, its not the votes that count, it's who counts the votes.

JW's to stop the preaching work??
by awol inmy mum went round to my jw sisters the other day and she said she had some exciting news.
my mum has fallen away and the rest of us kids don't go (either fallen away or d/f'd).
she then asked her husband if she could tell my mum... and they informed her (with huge big grins) that the preaching work is soon to stop.

It's ever so frustrating trying to convince a JW friend that the WT is false. I tried and tried with a close friend of mine, but his mind was not ready. All you can do is hope that you put enough seeds of doubt into her mind.

What do elders talk about behind closed doors?
by JH injust about every time i went to the kingdom hall, i used to see a few elders gather in the 2nd school and close the door and stay there maybe 10 or 15 minutes.
oh, what they were doing seemed so important... .

Yeh, Russell actually has two gravestones. The WT often just shows the non-pyramid version. I take it they didn't mention that he is burried on a Masonic gravesite?
