How did you spend the memorial?
by sinis inpersonally, i stayed at home (my wife went), made steaks, drank beer, and watched several vulgar/demonic movies in the world of the jw's (halloween, the eye, hitman, no country for old men, saw iv).
i later went over to my mother in laws house to meet up with some other in laws - who i saved from the jw's - and talked about how the memorial was a waste of f@cking time... then drank more beer waiting for my wife to come back...

PREACHING....................Boy! Didn't we look stupid
by nomoreguilt inlooking back over the posts of the last few weeks by some, i really am embarrased over the amount of time i spent going door to door.
we all imagined and then knew what the house holder must have been saying about us.

I always hated to knock on doors.. all my life,
but your thread jogged a distant memory
Back in the day when a pair of VERY youngs sisters would be allowed to work together, and here guys I'm talking about 9 or 10, I was out with my 'best friend' (hey you know it used to be)
We were working a really rough area in Little Hulton, Manchester. Houdeholder opens door and its my friends turn to 'go'.
She only starts talking in an american accent! OMG, I was shell shocked! But really struggled to stop myself laughing... until we got to the end of the path!

thats great. The event was not theocratic, but it was most definatley known that I would not want my children there, so much so that my understanding is several were shocked when they turned up.
Its the few people that manipulated, schemed and lied to get them there that I have the issue with, one being a popular local regular pioneer/ms!

I have a situation and need some jw literature quotationes regairding the following issues. I disposed of all my dub literature upon my exit, and need help with this;
A jw quaotation that the head of every family is the Father/ Mother/ parents
Regarding the incitement to lie.... my 'minor' daughters where co-erssed to lie to their parents and attend an event that they/ and their jw associaties knew would be expressly against our wishes.
ALL JW's kept silent about their attendance until by daughters (still minors) confessed theis to me.
My issue is not with my daughters. They were children. I need something to fire back at accusations now coming from extended family that since I'm apostate, I am a lover of nasty lies and dirty secrets.

Others who know the truth about the truth!

Sharing my sad news with you
by Pioneer Spit...oh, i mean Spirit inmy great nephew, 8 months old, was killed yesterday.
so far appears to have been murdered by his sitter, a couple with whom my nephew and his girlfriend have been living.
they beat and drowned this little baby.

Where do you send your DA letter?
